Everyone keeps presenting things to prove Robin can work if done right, but you keep saying it doesn't matter, because Robin can't work in a film.

robin works in campy batman universe where there's a giant penny in batman's den. i won't mind robin in that movie world but in the current batman film world, he would drag it down.

I care less if Robin is in or not but I don't want him in BB2 or BB3 till 4th.

I think Robin should probably eventually be portrayed, but not in the second movie, maybe the third though.

The reason I'd want to keep him out of the third is so that there's a clear...starting point for him. You'll have a trilogy with Batman, tie up all the plotlines started in BB and BB2, then have everyone else start coming in later. That way, I think, the people who don't like Robin, can have their trilogy of Batman films, and the people who do, will have 4, 5, etc.

But what bugs me is Bale´squote:

But one thing i can say, for either Nolan and any fan that say NO to Robin without even thinking twice.
You clearly don´t understand the richness that Robin would bring, but i do agree that you should keep him out until the 4th.

I liked Batman Begins but I don't want the Bat-world turning into serious world where there can be no fun. I disagree with Nolan about the character Robin and making the Bat-world too serious. I don't want a different director for the sequels, but I don't want a close-minded director who refuses to use characters fans love because he doesn't like the character.
