Robin Williams is great actor and the poor man didn't get the role of Joker in 1988 and 2006 also didn't want to play The Riddler in Batman Forever. I want him to play Penguin if ever Penguin is in The Dark Knight.

What do YOU think?

williams would be a much better Riddler than Penguin. if he can't do the that, then maybe Calender Man? he'd own that role.

Older Scarecrow would been great for Williams in Batman Begins though Murphy rocks as Crane.

Yeah The Riddler role could be great, if Nygme is in future movies.

Robin Williams would be great as Penguin, Calendar Man, Dr. Hugo Strange (!) or Dr. Jeremiah Arkham.

The Ventriloquist or Penguin are probably the best roles for his caliber. However to me I think he'd play the Penguin as Popeye or as Burgess Meredith played him back in the 60's.

That's why I think he'd be a better Ventriloquist because he wouldn't be so in-your-face-always-needing-a-laugh-Williams, but a passively timid and introverted character like his "One Hour Photo" character.

To me he's more dark and creepier when you don't know what next he'll say or do and that's why his "One Hour Photo" character was so effective.

As far as I know, Tim wanted him as Riddler when he was attached to Batman III.

That is a character I think he could do best as. His entire demeanor in his serious movies is very much how I see the Riddler as: Calm, cool, in control.

Williams for Riddler.

Williams would have to be serious as the Penguin. I don't remember him cracking many jokes (unless about high society), unless you count those lame Scooby-Doo adventures. So no, I really don't see him as a Penguin. He needs a "I belong in high society but was cheated out of it" edge

I like him, but I don't think he's right for it.

NO!

Good actor, but not right for The Penguin.

I just can't picture him as the Penguin, possibly the Riddler, it seems like a role more suited for his styles.

Williams in Batman movie?

Are you ten?

Get a friggin clue.

riddler could work although he would be older, it's that picture of him in a hat from the film toys that sells it...

personally as already mentioned, i think he would make a fantastic ventriloquist. I could totally buy him as an entertainer with split personas and he has this ability to have a crazy twist if needs be.

whether the ventriloquist ends up on the big screen, who knows

No, I don't like him and he's too well-known. All I would see is Robin Williams trying to be the Penguin.

Robin Williams time has passed. People finally wised up to the fact that he never was funny.

I think that the Riddler should definitely be included in TDK or a future sequel as a minor villain.... he would work perfectly with Nolan's style if they re-worked the character a little bit.

Robin Williams is an excellent actor, and a very funny man. He should be in the Dark knight as the Riddler or the penguin. if he isnt in this one, im pretty sure he wont be in the next one as the riddler because Two Face will be in the 3rd, and that'll be too much like the older one with Riddler and two face. so im afraid that if Williams isnt in The Dark Knight, he'll never be in this series..but i'd really love to see him as any role really, as long as he's a Villian that sort of suits him

:o

Where's the "Ban the next **** to suggest Robin Williams for ANY part in TDK" option? :(
