The Dark Knight Robin Williams as Penguin?

I don't think Williams would work as Penguin, the reason he wanted Joker so bad, and the reason there was a BOF report saying he wanted to be like a prisoner in Arkham, is because he wants to play someone like Insomnia, some one sick and maniacal, the Penguin most people on these boards would prefer is not sick an manaical

I really like Robin Williams, but I just feel its an uninspired choice.

He's one of the most inconsistent actors around, I feel. Good Will Hunting (his last line gets me everytime), Insomnia, truly awesome. Then you've got Patch Adams. And Flubber. And Hook.

I think he's more riddler than penguin though.

Robin Williams as Penquin?? Hmmmm.....mayyybe. I think Robin Williams would be better off playing another Batman villian. Someone more psychotic. Just watch his performance in Insomnia and he can do a really convincing psycotic bad guy. Not to mention, Williams loves the Batman comic books. He is a big nerd, just like us lol. So I definetely think Williams would be good playing a Batman villian but just not Penquin.
