Yes, he would be perfect for that. Make it so...for Batman 4.

I do hope Nolan honors that request. I mean, Williams has certainly been in enough movies to be owed a bit of a favor now and then.

Not to mention, I'm sure he's talented enough to successfully play any number of parts Nolan could give him.

Nolan: Robin, tell you what, since you are a legendary Academy Award winning actors and we are good friends, I'll create a part especially for you...if you don't mind doing it for free.

Robin: Are F***** crazy?!

This will be great for Batman 4, Batman vs The Ventriloquist, gets a partner (kid Robin!) and Robin faces off the person who killed his parents!

The Ventriloquist killed his parents?!

no no... God I forgot the dudes name... The Ventriloquist would be a side adventure/battle for Batman while he takes care of a boy who's parents died recently.

*sigh* I'm gonna get blasted for this:

Why, exactly, do people want Robin Williams in these films? Yes, I do know he was in Insomnia - I've been a Nolan fan since well before Begins - and he was good but...why? I just don't get it.
its just the same as the people who want denzel washington for harvey dent, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
even though im not against seeing robin williams in a sick role in future bat-flicks.

i don't nessecarily want him in tdk or batman, but he does kick ass, dead poets society rules, good will hunting he rules, what dreams may come he rules, insomnia he rules, he's a good actor, obviously he has a tendincy to do crappy comedies like RV et al, but he sure as hell can act

to answer your question as to why people want him in movies still

......who said the guy had to be funny and have his "antics"? Have u not seen his dramas? Dude can obviously act and do things seriously. And I'm sorry, but Robin Williams is a powerfull enough of an actor that he'd be good in a Shumacher movie, kinda like how good (and she was the only one) Uma Thurman was in B&R.

Arnold was the only one that gave a decent performance in B&R. And I mean that, take away the horrible one liners and other written corny bit of the character and he was one of the best villians in the 90's Batseries.

Mista Freeze was the ****. I don't care what anybody says :o.

What about Robin Williams as Mad Hatter? That's the first villain I thought of when I heard his name, but if not Ventriloquist or Riddler would work for him.

i think Williams might make a pretty good Riddler, the Long Halloween version that is. Obsessive-compulsive and Batman forcing him to help figure out other criminal's motives as in Dark Victory.

Williams creeped me out in One Hour Photo ...still get the jibblies thinking about it.

Robin Williams IS The Ventriloquist. He's creepy when he's silent and he could voice Scarface as well. (Although I would prefer him as The Ventriloquist and have Al Pacino, Robert Deniro, or James Gandolfini as Scarface.)

Of course is if Nolan would want him now and sees his eagerness to be in a Batman film, I could see him casting Williams as The Penguin. Williams wouldn't have to do much in the role, just waddle, snarl, and do the familiar penguin quack.

Riddler I think he'd ham him up too much like Carrey did. The two roles I mentioned is where he'd be fine.

he was great in Man of the year... me and my friends laughed so much. But yah I can see him as the Mad Hatter as well...

Jeramiah Arkham, dammit:(

or Riddler

...or if Ledger is killed

i don't see him as Joker... but hey he is really funny.

So you're hoping Williams will play it as an ultra-camp cartoon drag-queen?

that would be funny for like another movie with Williams as a Drag Queen...
