Rothman speaks...

I would honestly NOT get tired of punching Rothman in the face, what a ****ing scumbag.

Same here, from morning till night, i would never get tired of introducing rothman to my fists

lol his website pic is currently on my dart board :woot:

I would never kill anybody but I would love to punch the man. Him and Avi Arad.

:hehe: There's a reason my sig says what it says.

It's not surprising though. People often become attached to abstract ideas. Just look at religion, philosophy, art, and literature. If anything, the inability to hold meaning to the immaterial denotes mental disorder.

Not saying people shouldn't get attached, (and you are SO write about the opposite) but... there needs to be balance. Threatening a stupid man doing his job poorly is just... weird.

He essentially gets paid for messing with movies. Giving his stupid input and forcing decisions. Why can't he just stay away?

Well, I agree that threatening violence is a bit much.

A tongue-lashing, on the other hand, is fair game.

If he loses enough money for them, he'll eventually get fired. So... look to the bright side eh?

Fortunately, I'm not a Narnia fan. I couldn't care any less about Fox screwing up property rights that don't interest me.

I thought the same thing about Wolverine. Not knowing anything about Wolvie’s past other than bits of what the TV series have shown, I thought I would overlook any screw-ups and enjoy the movie. Was I wrong :csad:

he got promoted after a bad year(2008) for FOX :o

so just dont :csad:

i know. And people will still eat this film up, even if the fan's keep saying the film (from viewing the workprint) is garbage. I seen it with X3, history will again repeat itself.

X3 had mutants with an impressive display of powers like Phoenix, Magneto, Angel, Pyro, Storm etc. And most of the characters were well-known from the previous movies. Wolvie’s movie has more acrobatics and completely new characters. So there's a bit hope of history not repeating itself.

Having little knowledge of a property right adaptation shouldn't automatically diminish your ability to properly evaluate whether a movie is a crapfest or not.

Yeah, really. I understand the extreme hatred of people involved in the destruction of beloved and childhood franchises, but even I never agree, of even think about wanting to "punch Michael Bay in the face". :o
Why can't he just stay away?

I've heard somewhere that Storm's cameo DOES appear on the trailer. I don't see to find it.

Maybe when we're absolutely sure that's the only way, or when they're making X-Men 4 and we don't him to lay his untalented, crusty hands onto the script.

But for real, any other way? :csad:

I'm not going to get all super boiled up and say I want to hit Tom Rothman.

But honestly, why should I believe a single word he says? How can I believe anything he says at face value. TOM ROTHMAN. When has he ever given us the straight word or been honest to the fans at all?

Galactus, X-men 3, everything. Why should I believe him now?

I also bet you they never catch the person who leaked the movie. And you know what? The person who leaked it is probably someone high up at Fox or someone who had access to it at a post production facility.

It was ....

Rothman's mother! Her apology for birthing him.

The tv spots have begun to run on my local cable. I caught a glimpse of the African mission and of Storms's cameo. I saw lightning as well.

I don't know if it means that that scene is back into the film, particularly after Donner's confirmation this won't appear, I wonder if the leak had had some part in this decision.

Hmmmm... Armageddon, probably.
