Hello im new and i dont know where to post this

Running time: 180 mins

is it right??

3 HOURS!... sorry to disapoint you pal, even if there was a chance that the movie's running time would be that much, I wouldn't wish for it to be... I've always wanted this movie to be AT LEAST 2 hours & 20 minutes... The rumour now (and has been said in interviews) is that the movie's cut is 2:35! And that's a beautiful long length... However 3 hours is a bit over the top for a superhero flick... Where did you hear this?

I remember Routh saying the cut that he watched was 2hrs and 35 minutes.

Good enough for me.

145-155 mins is enough for SR.

3 hours are too long and too bad for box office of SR.

the big question is: where did routh say that he already watched the movie?

He said he saw the movie to a reporter having an interview with him at some hotel, right after they showed the ShoWest footage... The reporter asked Routh "The movie has a running time of 2:30-2:40 hrs.. do you think the running time will be a problem?" See the reporter said the film was between 2 hrs & 30 minutes AND 2 hrs and 40 minutes... seeing how Routh DIDN'T correct him, or say that the movie wasn't that long at all, we can assume that the movie really IS that long... Routh said that as long as things keep happening and it's fun and exiting, the running time is no problem what so ever... so if this is true, we may very well get a movie of 2 hrs & 40 freaken minutes!

Nah, 140-150 mins are enough.

I hope we will not get 160-180 mins film, it would be very long and boring.

Anyway, the same I can say about Plane sequence, it should be just 10-15 mins, while earthquakes should be just 7-10 mins.

2:35 is perfection

Still it is a bit long. I'd say 143 mins would be enough to tell the whole story with action sequences.

i dont know maybe im just saying that because i dont want things to be left out because the film ran short
cough x3 cough
didnt mean to bash

you know why he hasnt correct him?
because he is a ****ing actor, because he doesnt have anything to do with puting together teh movie.

bottom line he doesnt know how long will the movie be. ;)

It isn't Harry Potter film.

There will be enough action, dialogues and storytelling without anything, what was missed.

But also it will have some questions after end of film, which will be discussed in sequel ;)

proabobly a stupid question
but does the run time include the end credits or no

I heard on ATOS that the running time should be between 2hrs 15min or 25min

Yeah well I'd say, that when the movie is already that long, a silly teen minutes more wont make a difference.:supes:

Not a silly question at all, especially when it's a superman movie, cause the opening credits will propobly be like 5 minutes or so, and the end credits 10, so it's about 15 minutes put together... But if the movie ends up on 2:35, than there's 2 hrs & 20 min of actual film.. that's fine with me:)

I don't get why people want it to be three hours or longer. Movies can be too long too, and if you measure the success or failure of a film strictly on its box office gross, it stands to do better with a shorter running time. As long as it's able to tell the story it's trying to tell in the time allotted, I'll be happy. King Kong for instance dragged on for me, and I can't believe there was a longer cut that PJ wanted to go with. Ugh. How many more silent, running scenes were there anyway? And as much as I enjoy the LotR films, I have a hard time watching the extended edition of RotK in one sitting.
