She loved it...she thinks people are gonna love it...everyone there seemed to love it...9.5/10 she says...and thats just shy of 10 because of her fondness for STM and Christopher Reeve. But she gives Routh a 10/10 for his performance.

Is there any "BAM" scenes like the one from Superman '78 when he catches Lois on his first night, then catches the ****ing helicopter (which is, btw, one of the best scenes in cinema history)? I mean when he actually catches her, it's a single moment in time where you feel yourself clap.

Her favorite part was the plane sequence...she said everybody clapped...I guess those reshoots paid off...The music works but she's not a real good critic there as she liked X3's score better.

All cgi and effects of Routh and flying were perfect...there is only one scene she said that looks fake and that was when young Clark Kent was jumping around the farm fields...she said it just didn't look right.

I got to see a sneak preview of Superman today and it was great. I loved the movie. The action scenes really made you believe that Brandon was Superman. There was one part of the story line I did not care for and I'm sure you all can probably guess what that was but I can say that it was done very well. Also the cool part was that they were giving out free t-shirts!

I can answer that, seeing how I've read about it in another thread on this board (from a guy who HAS seen the film)...
The opening does NOT open the same way as in STM... There are some lines popping up on the screen, right after the firm logo's has come to pass... 6 lines that tells the backstory... and than something else happens, and THEN the credits begin.
