So for those who saw the movie, would you want a fourth?

i dunno...it took 6 years for a 3rd...a 4th is...unlikely...esp when Tucker wants more and more money...i dont understand that...hes know for 4 movies. Friday, Rush Hour 1,2,3...and No, Money Talks was crap.

I think the cost of this movie, and the disappointing BO is kind of ruling out a fourth one right now.

I'd definitely love to see it (and if it waas released, my ass would be in that seat opening weekend), but I am against film franchises having more than 3 installments, so no, I wouldn't want it.

More than anything he hates the racist tinge of the dialogue he has to speak in the movies.

And this doesn't come from the article.

I find it amusing that you mention this because last night I was watching the features on the Rush Hour 2 DVD and there's a segment where they talk about how Chris Tucker is very sensitive to any dialogue in the films that he thinks might be viewed as offensive. He doesn't like to do it. It took him like an hour of different takes before Ratner finally convinced him to call Zhang Ziyi a "crazy-ass *****" because Tucker thought it was too derogatory to women.

So if both Tucker and Chan are afraid of the dialogue in these movies... I guess we're lucky we have Ratner after all, since some of the best/funniest/most interesting moments come from vaguely racial remarks the two leads share. The "What's up my *****?" scene in the first film is interesting on a lot of levels, and some of the funniest dialogue in either film comes from things like "I'll *****-slap you back to Africa!"

One of the best scenes in Rush Hour 3 is when they are interrogating this Asian guy who only speaks French & they had to get a Sister in because she was the only one near by who spoke French & they cursed each other out & insulted each other through the Sister

This movie is just as good and just as funny as the other two.I hope they make a Rush Hour 4.

It's a good movie. I liked it. I wish that the Asian girl had gotten more screentime, but I was pretty impressed with Noémie Lenoir. She was major league hot.

I really love Rush Hour movies, I love the interaction between Tucker and Chan. they are the best team. they just are. but I hope they end in 3. I just love when a good movie becomes a trilogy. and seems very unlikely that they will don a 4. it was already hard to convince Chris and Jackie to come back for one more.

This movie is laugh out loud funny. The theater I was in which was basically half way full was full of laughter the entire time there was something to laugh about in almost every scene. I cant remember the last time I laughed out loud in a theater & some scenes had me in tears that it was so funny,

Would that count for the Spider-Man franchise?

LOL Yeah, the theater that I was in was the EXACT same which made it even more of an enjoyable experience!:woot:

As I said, my theater wasn't exactly packed. I'm assuming it was cause I saw the movie on a work day. :o

It had some great moments, no question, but it failed to really live up to the prior films. I loved the first two but went in with no expectations on it and came out dissapointed overall. It needed more closure then what it was that ended up with it and it seemed a bit too short for its own good.

If they get to do another, they need to go back to the prior films and take from them because if this is the end of the series. It's a sad case.

same thing!

When Carter starts poking fun at the chubby girl's weight during the pull over scene is when I knew he was back in form.

"I need a lawyer."

"You NEED a personal trainer! Your license say you weigh 180, girl you weigh more than the damn car!"

Would that count for the Spider-Man franchise?

Yep.
Since I didn't really fancy the 3rd one, it makes it more easier to not want another.

The funniest scene in Rush Hour 3 was when Lee and Carter were trying to save Genevieve from the traids at the show. When Carter came out there to sing, then Lee comes out of nowhere, actually knew the song that Carter was singing, and slid on stage. The best blooper was when Carter said something like "We ain't brothers? After all we been through? Rush Hour 1, Rush Hour 2..."

:D

6/10 For me. Saw it last night.

Nowhere near as good as the other two, rushed and sloppy.
I can't believe the step down in woman hotness from RH2 to RH3.
I love Chris Tucker though. I don't know why but I do.

Also, I felt that RH3 (like Spidey3 with the spider-pimp scene) ALMOST jumped the shark, but actually bordered on brilliance.

Awww, poor little Ratner is suffering from money woes.

Why? Simple. He cares more about being a director than actually being a good director. He wants the lifestyle, riches, and glory, but he cares about little else, i.e. respect and hard work.
