RW/RR Gauntlet III

What pissed me off was how the Rooks were laughing and smiling during the dig. Wtf

Lmao @ this whole episode.Best Finale ever.Did'nt see that coming at all.

There're 2 black guys and a mixed girl on that season. What is this, a trick?
There will be FIVE black housemates this season. It will look more like the cast of College Hill than Real World. MTV stepped up with their casting. I cant believe how there was like no diversity in the last season.

But yeah, the challenges need to go back to being RW vs RR
IA but for that to happen, they need to start doing RWs again and I mean the old style and not that horrible one they tried to create last year

OMG, the rookies suck. WORST team in RW/RR history. THat was just beyond pathetic
Jillian and Niamiah are the best players the have IMO.

Oh snaps, haha, the vets just got screwed. The rookies got the most undeserving win

MTV needs to give the Rookies some chance. They can't do that without the Veterans imploding.

RR really did start sucking towards the end. The kids sucked at every mission and had to replace like 70% of the team lol

I hated that, and Viewer's Revenge was Horrible.I really wish they did'nt bring in the Alumni.I mean they show up on the challenges all the time.Give some new kids a chance.

I didnt think so. I thought it got better. I loved the last 2 seasons, South Pacific and X-treme , especially SP which was one of my favorites. I did hate the Survivor rules where they had to vote someone off. That was dumb

wow..the rookies had that big lead..and they still couldnt do it..but the they won by default..huh.

I'm soo disappointed in the vets...eric was gonna die out there...and all you here is ev,ct screaming about money..i hate them all...cept for diem i love her

Since the vets lost, I guess this means CT is gonna go on another challenge.

In the end, the funniest thing is that the veterans could've easily won by power walking.

Feel bad for Eric, but damn, how often do you see someone on these challenges talk themselves up that much only to completely fail three minutes later? Oh wait...

Still, good show by Brad. At least one person on these challenges is a decent human being.

Which is rare on a MTV/BM reality show. BTW, did anyone else know that Johanna and Wes broke up?

Does anyone care? Honestly, she's too hot for that pig-faced ginger kind anyway.

As for the final challenge, I actually spoiled myself and knew the Rookies were gonna win since before the season even started. I had just forgotten who made up the final Rookies team. Why the Veterans thought Eric would be useful in the final mission is beyond me. At least Katie or Coral, anyway of the men, except maybe Adam, could have just slung one of them over their shoulders and still sprinted to the end. That's even assuming either of them would have tired out. And ultimately, they wouldn't have needed that many people for digging, as they still had almost twice as many people once they got there. I mean really, when has the final challenge NOT involved some sort of Ironman-like event. More often than not, there's swimming involved, and there's ALWAYS running involved. Uphill running, uneven terrain, it's not fun. And you can just look at Eric and know that no matter how big he talks, the fact remains that guys with his body type aren't going to be able to handle that type of physical stress.

So in the end, the Veterans f***ed up, and CT loses out on money he would have gotten last season if he didn't knock the mess outta Davis.

I was watching this last night. I was sort of disgusted. While 300 grand is a lot of money, even if it split among 10 people, its not worth having someone almost die over it. 'Lets carry him'. Wtf is wrong with people. It's sad what money can do to people.

On the reality TV show side of things. I found it hilarious and definably my favorite challenge so far.

I mean, if you're gonna be sneaky and be on some "let's get rid of some people" sh**, you've gotta plan that from jump! 'Cause as this challenge proved, you can win almost every mission, and still lose. Hell, the only person they really needed to make an effort to get rid of was Eric. Furthermore, the reason for shaving off some of your players shouldn't be because you think they'll slow you down, it's because it's less money for you in the end if you win! Look at the rookies, five players to split $300,000. That's 60Gs a piece! Even before taxes, thats far more money than I make in a year!! That's mortgage payments, a new car, a swanky vacation. I mean, c'mon. The Veterans were only going to get half as much a piece.

Oh I think the veteran guys did plan that from the jump, they knew who that had to get rid of from the girls that would slow them down. And I mean they had to know Eric was going to slow them down too, but they also are smart enough to know that in some of those gaunlets, Eric could beat any of the vet guys. So they decided keeping him around was better than risking their shot at the money. It turned out to be a bad gamble. I mean you would rather there be a smaller split of the money, but you still want to win the money, and they would have crushed the rookies if Eric didn't slow them down. Not a bad season overall, not the best, they need to mix up the format again or something.

What they need to do is bring back the bankable money. Make every challenge worth $10,000 or more. That way we wont see stuff like the vets losing on purpose to get rid of girls. They will all fight hard for that money. I dont get why they removed this format as its better in my opinion

Pretty much. Because one, I'm pretty sure whether or not they win or lose the final mission, whatever money they bank over the course of the season, they get to keep that. Two, you're right, it would keep people more honest.

As for not wanting to face Eric in a Gauntlet, that's the dice you gotta roll. Honestly, I can only see one or two Gantlet games Eric could conceivably win at; the one where both people are attached at the ankle and they have to pull the other person away from their line (the one MJ lost), or the one where you have to push the other person into their barrier (the one Ryan lost). And even that second one is a maybe. Eric may be big, but he tires easily. That would have been just a simple matter of waiting him out and conserving your energy. Look at how long Ryan lasted against Nehemiah. Ball Brawl, any guy on the Vets could have outsprinted Eric for a ball and outmaneuvered him to get past the line. The puzzle challenge, that's more mental than anything, no advantage for Eric or the other player.

Being chickens**t is no reason to keep around a guy you KNOW full-well you'd have to pick up the slack for in the final mission.

I cant remember how the final missions went but I think that yes the teams did keep the money they won but that the final mission was worth alot more

I liked the Vet team better than the Rookies but I was kinda glad to see the Vets get what they deserved in the end.

I can't stand EV and I kinda expected it from CT. While he was yelling at him, they only showed snippets of him actually using the yelling to encourage Eric, so he wasn't completely an ahole like always.

Gained a lot of respect for Brad. He's always been one of the consistent competitors and I was glad to see someone caring about a life over some money. Him, Evan and Diem are pretty much the only ones I liked on that team.

people have already said what i felt :D i would just feel really salty if i was on the vets team

is there not gonna be a reunion? wasnt there before for th eother challenges?

anywhoo, the next season of RW looks interesting

Actually, I know what you mean. Hopefully, the next challenge will be better. They need to do something new and off the wall, too. I hope it is not Inferno III, either. Make it RW/RR, and bring back some of the oldie but goodies, and bam, it will be good.
