Bradley Cooper came on Conan last night and talked about GL. He even said if he was the director he would of hired Reynolds. And he said his audition wasn't very good. That he sounded like Bale's Batman.

The story was pretty funny.

see i prefer this Green Arrow 'hat' outfit over the 'hoodie' version that DC keeps on bringing back every 5 years. Maybe it's because the hoodie outfit itself is kinda plain, where as the outfit with the hat is better designed.

Ya just take for example in smallville season 6 they had justin at a costume party were a 70s style green arrow costume and it looked a bit silly, but hoody works well on that show. But yea its nice that cooper talked about his audition and time with campbell.

Robin Hood has been depicted wearing a hood.

That hat has got to go. I personally never liked it, but can easily stomach it, but I dont see it in any way shape or form looking halfway decent on camera

Yeah it was funny. It was also good to hear him speak highly of Reynolds with the role. Cooper's definitely my second pick for GA besides Fassbender.

Green Arrow's costume in general could be a bit of an eyesore in live action. They would have to tweak it a bit.

But I think they still need to keep the Robin Hood motif. Perhaps, add more colors to it (dark greens, black, brown), very light chainmail perhaps?

Yeah, Green Arrow's never been a favorite, but I've always liked how he looks.

I don't get it... everyone raises a ruckus when the movie folks start changing things, but immediately when a movie's announced, everyone here starts changing everything about a character's appearance. It's damn annoying.

I could see them adding brown colors or light chainmail. Say what you want about the Kostner Robin Hood, but the costume wasnt half bad. They could loose a bunch of layers though

Green Arrow's a great character but I think his political liberal views and snarky attitude was more of an afterthought, when Denny O' Neil gave him a new persona. That's why I think people misunderstand Green Arrow because the way he looks and the way he acts are complete contrasts of each other. He's actually the most grounded member of the DC universe, personality wise, I think.
