I lost contact with a buddy for about 2 years and just today managed to get a hold of him today. I spent those 2 years trying to get in touch with him through an email or to find some office of his I can call or something. I just go to wondering if there was an easier way.

How'd you get a hold of him? Why not continue that method or ask for his e-mail through that method?

I have his cell phone number, but he broke his phone several times and occassionally would not be able to have a phone doing whatever he was doing. I'd try calling every now and then and wouldn't get anything. I randomly called today and got him.

I'm just wondering if I spent the last 2 years going about it the hard way. Ya know, if there was a directory or something I could have looked in.

So how's the weather in Japan?

Depends on where you're at. In Tokyo, it never snowed this year, and I hear it gets really humid in the Summer. Hence, Spring is my favorite time of the year. Sakura/Cherry Blossoms bloom everywhere and it's truly a sight to behold. That and there's the bizarre Fertility Festival. Wooden Penis stand? Yikes. Yet another new meaning to Hot Dog Stand and Hard Wood.

I dunno if I can even go, they're doing it on a damn Thursday. Why the hell a work day?! That's so un-Japanese. Anyway, I think the thing that'll bug me most is the little kids with the penis lollipops and the Sake designed to look like male juice. The history is kind of interesting. Apparently, a demon that loved to eat man parts had its teeth shattered after trying to eat a forged iron man-part. Prostitutes also prayed to the big iron man-part to not get STDs and the like.

You won't see an episode like that in Inuyasha, if you catch my drift.
