News-Times/Marcia Schlegelmilch The Grumman Albatross, stopping over at the York Municipal Airport, was traveling home to Alaska after filming of the plane was completed for the upcoming feature film The Dark Knight the sequel to Batman Begins.

This plane plays a key role in TDK

All seven were on their way back to Alaska after a trip east to the Chicago area. That's where filming took place for "The Dark Knight," sequel to "Batman Begins." The plane had a featured role in the movie.

Rod piloted the Albatross during filming. His brother Johnny said,"We were the good guys, we helped Batman escape from a yacht."

Click for more photos! Prior to its debut in the Batman flick, the Albatross had only been seen in air shows ... this was the plane's first movie.

Deosn't he take the ballet company off on his yacht?

Maybe him wanting to escape the women is part of the twist, no wonder they got Heath to play the Joker

Joker attacks Bruce Wayne? big public figah. or it could even be someone related to Engel or Reese, they know who he is

that's a cool looking plane. nice find He-Man

Great Find! By the looks of this movie we'll be seeing batman a lot!!

good God, there are so many different plots in this story. It should be 30 hours long!

Yeah, there looks to be a lot packed into this film. My only concern is that it'll pull a SM3 and be too crowded to fully develop all the plot points.

We'll see how it goes.

Ah, this is just for 1 movie, right?

Ya I am kinda worried about that, unless straight from the beginning they get into it.

Nice find!

There does seem to be a lot of stuff going on in this flick. Hope they can pull it off without it dragging or being too muddled.

Yacht huh? Wonder if it's named Gertrude...

Im not to worried about everything, I think Nolan will fit everything in nicely but I don't think everything will be tied up by the end of the film. I think whatever they leave unanswered will be clarified in the 3rd film. With the teasing WB is doing...it wouldn't suprise me If we get an ending like "The Matrix: Reloaded".........:batty: :joker: :joker:

Nah nah nah, nah nah nah.

S-O-S, please someone help me...

Not necessarily. Remember BB where they had the short little clip of those baddies on the boat stealing the microwave emitter? Could be a small little scene like that.
