Sabretooth Wolverine's half brother?

People go off on this feral animal instincts on Wolverine and Sabretooth so much, but Shang Chi made a good point. An animal doesn't stand around thinking if its an animal or not.

An animal isn't cruel. An animal simply does what is in its nature to do. A wolf or a tiger lives its life. It hunts food. It mates, and it protects and raises its young. Maybe it runs with a pack.

Wolverine nor Sabretooth don't really have qualities of animals in nature. They are very different.

An animal doesn't just mindlessly kill stuff for the hell of it.

the human does lots of those things, and seeing as we're animals...........

i see creed and logan as humans(well, mutants, but you know what i mean) who operates on their basic instincts and impulses. creed embraces his, and wolverine fights against his.

still animalistic, in that sense.

That's if you feel Creed's impulses themselves are basic.

Just saying, that's my whole perspective on the animal/human thing with Wolverine and Sabretooth.

Nice POV.

I have one question: Would cutting off ol' Sabretooth's head really kill him?

Thanks for answering...I wasn't sure if cutting it off would do the trick, since he laughed when Wolverine said it.

I think he was laughing at that reply because he thinks Wolverine is inferior to him.

Unless the head is reattached so it can heal.

The muramasa blade just nullifies the healing factor so that's why it worked. I doubt simply cutting off Sabretooth's head in any medium would work unless the head is taken far enough from the body.

Wolverine did lop off Sabretooth's head in Ultimate X-men.

According to Sabretooth, it grew back.

I think he was laughing at that reply because he thinks Wolverine is inferior to him.

Sabretooth laughs at the idea of Wolverine attempting to kill him.

In this movie the inferiority complex from the comics is clearly replaced by sibling rivalry.

Its not really "You can't kill me."

Its more like "I can kill you first."

Speaking of the family tree, will we ever see Graydon Creed in the movies?

Doubt it but I HAVE been bouncing around the idea that X-men 1's Sabretooth was Graydon Creed affected by Magneto's machine...Just a thought. >_0 I'm sure people will find many reasons why that's not a possibility.

In my mind X1's Sabertooth never existed, was never in that movie, we never saw him, etc. That's what I keep telling myself and I'm sticking to it.

Couldn't have been Graydon. He was a lot smarter than that doofus.

But I do hope Graydon makes it into a movie.

I second that.

*On the 3rd generation Logan front, I would love to see a movie where Graydon and Daken go toe to toe and Wolverine is kinda like a supporting character.

Picture Hugh Jackman with some white hairs coming out of his chops and a patch over his eye...

Ooooh. The patch . . . .

Is it sad that I think that is very incredibly hot? :oldrazz: :) :D

I wonder how they'd be able to write in Nightcrawler and Graydon Creed as Mystique children at this point?

50-year-old Hugh Jackman wearing an eye patch = $$$

I would love to see X4 get made [eventually] with Rebecca Romijn back as a relapsing Mystique and a storyline involving Nightcrawler.

I wouldn't want Graydon Creed popping up in an X-Men movie, I'd prefer seeing him in a Wolverine movie that features Sabretooth or the "memory" of him.

As long as Bretty Ratner stays away from the franchise, I'd be all for an X4, especially if they used Apocalypse as the villain.

Never really heard of him, but almost anyone is better suited to direct than Ratner...unless you're Uwe Boll. *shudders at the thought*

Gunn co-wrote Dawn of The Dead and directed Slither.

Ironically I feel his greatest achievement was being engaged to Jenna Fischer.

I never saw Slither, but it looked alright. And yes, anyone has to be better than Ratner.

Its not a false rumor.

Sabretooth is his brother.

The Dog Logan character and Victor Creed are one in the same in the film.

Logan and Creed are both the sons of Thomas Logan who is the guy getting stabbed by young Logan in the Trailer.

Thomas Logan like Logan and Creed has mutton chops and claws.

I like that.

Although Thomas Logan fathered both of them how did Wolverine turn out to essentially be dog like & Sabertooth turn out to be cat like? Is it because each had different mothers & each just inherited different traits of dogs & cats or are they pretty much the same & its just their names that make them different & they are in no way associated with different animals in anyway?

Sabretooth and Wolverine both share different traits from canines and felines.

With Wolverine these traits have to be triggered to be noticeable.

With Sabretooth they're more pronounced (sharp teeth and claw-like nails).

Like most siblings, they're very similar with a few differences.

OMG, you guys are trying way too hard. No way can you compare Uwe Boll to Brett Ratner.

Just, go sit in a corner and think about what you've done. :p
