"Jerk!" came a call from the crowd, as a slide showing the identity of the character who died in Runaways came on the screen. Vaughan said that issue #19 of the series will show the repercussions of that character's death, as the rest of the team tries to put their lives back together.

some people are just stupid.

Loeb reiterated that the tone of Ultimates will change slightly when he takes over the property with Ultimates 3, noting that no one does that "hippie, commie pinko, I hate America stuff as well as Mark [Millar]" joking that "he probably made the book more popular than it should have been."

awww, maaaaaaaaaaan, i like ultimates the way it is now. wonder what millar will go onto next...? anybody?

I remember reading in Wizard that he was supposed to be taking a break from writing comics for a while, and then he said something about not passing up a chance like Civil War.

So, maybe after Civil War is over he'll be taking that break I remember him talking about.

Millar and Hitch have some unannounced book after Civil War.

I'm guessing that Millar and Wizard are full of it then. Or Millar's health is improving.

I didnt hear this from Wizard.

No, no, no. I remember reading in Wizard that Millar wasn't doing so good health wise and planned to be taking a hiatus from comics because of it. And since you said that he and Hitch have something planned after Civil War I'm guessing that he's either feeling better or Wizard was full of it.

Well Millar has Crohns(or Chrons dont remember how to spell it) but yeah Joey Q said at the last con they had a project coming up.

He has Chrohns diease, a intestinal problem.

Basically his stomach is eating it's self.

I don't know if Darthphere mentioned the following spoilers in this thread or not, the first is on the movie and the second is on Ultimate Spiderman.

FIRST SPOILER:

In the trailer you see a pumpkin bomb being thrown at Harry. Well, some of you might have already guessed it but it was thrown by Peter Parker (wearing the black suit).

SECOND SPOILER:

Gwen is coming back!

I was one of the 50 people that got the spiderman 3 movie poster signed by the cast, it was cool to meet the cast, I didn't know all of them, but I knew mary jane and spiderman, also knew the guy from "wings" we talked about x-men and wolveirne, believe it or not:) now I have a poster, that should really be in a spiderman fan's home, oh well.

So you pretty much went to the panel to brag about it later?

Cool! How/when did that happen? I left towards the end of their panel to go watch the new Teen Titans movie. It was a nice surprise to see them, especially since I wasn't going to go in. The line was waaaayyyyy to long and I figured the show would mostly be about Nicholas Cage and Ghostrider. Thing is that I cut across some equipment and some ropes to buy a pizza (for some reason the only people that had access to this snack bar were those in line to see Nickolas Cage). Anyway, after I got my pizza, there wasn't anywhere for me to go. I could either cut through that maze of stuff I had gone through eariler OR go in to the theater. The line pretty much blocked my exit outside while the ushers blocked my way out through the inside, so I went ahead and went in:O . The Spiderman stuff (preview and stars) were totally unexpected!

When did Cloak & Dagger become mutants? Their origins were always portrayed as victims of clandestine medical expierients back in the day...
Cloak & Dagger were retconned into being mutants during the mid-late 90's or so, because that was the hieght of X-mania and therefore you could instantly "JAZZ" someone up by saying they were a mutant. The deal was that their mutant powers were latent and were forcefully activated when they were injected with wierdo drugs (and maybe the drugs altered them a little, or whatever). So they have the best of "wacky science" and "mutant" worlds. And yet despite such a mighty retcon, the pair have still done little but guest star sporatically.

I've been away for quite sometime now. So can anyone get me up to date on what I have missed about this years Comic Con? What the hell is this Mighty Avengers book?
