Who should they get?

Adam Driver continues to be my top pick. The look, that stature, that voice… I think he’d be great.

I wouldn't wanna see Scarecrow till at least a threequel, but maybe Kodi Smit-McPhee, who Reeves has worked with a couple times before, for a mostly silent and traumatized Jonathan.

It’s not going to be any worse than the Titans Scarecrow at least.

Bear in mind that Crane is a doctor with a PhD and well renowned in his field of study. He should be a bit older.

I'm 110% on the "Ralph Ineson for Hugo Strange" train, but Ineson would also make a killer Scarecrow.

Stephen Merchant would be cool casting, he's a long lanky guy, the kind of build you'd expect for crane. they'd just have to find a way with the camera to not make him completely tower over everyone because the guy is like 6'7

Robert Englund seems like a good choice. And here me out, I know this sounds crazy, but I would also cast my vote for Norman Reedus.

My top pick would probably be Ineson

I like the idea of a really tall, Scarecrow, like Injustice except he is still human and not a monster.

Nolan barely scratched the surface but Im not even really wanting Scarecrow in this series. But I felt lackluster when I heard about Riddler, Penguin and Catwoman until I saw the interpretations.

I’m partial to the TNBA design. Some dude on Reddit did a pretty sick cosplay based on that design…

If we get Scarecrow in the Reeves franchise, then I definitely want to see a variation of this classic scene from Knightfall.

A more practical version of the Crooked Man silhouette would be amazing.

I'm also a big fan of TNBA Scarecrow design. A take on that, with Adam Driver behind it could be great. I think what's tricky about this role is you have cast Creepy for Scarecrow but you also have to cast someone who can be astute and for Crane.

While I do like TNBA Scarecrow, he just looks more like a zombie in actuality. Not sure if I would go that route. It gives me the impression of trying to make a character scarier than what it needs to be or already is and turns out to be a fail.

Also, I doubt if Adam Driver would want to get into a comic book franchise and I don’t really want him anywhere near this trilogy either.

What would be some left field choices?

Ok, when I really think about it, this is what I look for in a actor for Scarecrow. Tall, around 40, has played in a horror franchise, nerdy and someone that is well known, but not a huge actor.

Jared Padalecki is a pretty good choice for me. He’s 6’4, known for playing in Supernatural, played the lead role in Friday the 13th, nerdy, but also knows how to be a villain. I would love to see what he could do.

I really do want Stephen Merchant, I feel he is believable as a professor, he's tall and Lanky, all around a likable guy.

But Scarecrow is a versatile character so I would be open to whoever is cast

Michael Emerson is a great choice for Scarecrow I think. He could do it in his sleep. Loved him on Lost.
