Tennant is such a good choice for the role that it could be typecasting.

From a purple man... to a green man?

I can see Xavier Dolan being fun as a younger Riddler. An up-and-coming villain trying and failing to cut it with the older guys like Penguin, maybe, but who nevertheless acts like he’s better than everyone else. He ends up biting more than he can chew by trying to take on Batman directly and lets out an important clue in the process.

Besides Cynthia Erivo’s singing, I thought his cameo in Bad Times at the El Royale was the only other note-worthy thing in the movie. I wouldn’t mind the accent either, but I know some of you take issue with that sort of thing.

Eddie Redmayne is my number one choice by far. I think he would be terrific with the right director

More like The Fattler (no offensive to Jesse who is a king)

Now, now, there's nothing wrong with a Riddler with some extra meat on his bones. It's just more to love. Well, I guess more to hate would be more appropriate. :sly:

Michael Emerson was my choice back in the Dark Knight days. We don't need a young Riddler. He's not Bane.

^ He'd be fine for Riddler no doubt, but with that face he should be Clock King. :)

'The Batman' Casts Paul Dano as The Riddler

''Matt Reeves has found his Riddler for The Batman. Paul Dano has joined the film as the classic villain, Warner Bros. announced Thursday.

Dano's version of the character will be named Edward Nashton, a departure from the comic books in which he goes by the name Edward Nygma.''
