Dude, did you even bother to read any of the posts on the past 3 pages?
Nope, I just saw something to do with Rah's and assumed that people were talking about Batman killing his enemies. Oh, well. As for Joker killing Scarecrow; I'm all for that. Why not? It would make the Joker seem more lethal and uncompromised.

spiderman is different all together
ra's is dead
no doubt
he was on the ground with his eyes closed
he had accepted that he was going to die[/quote]

I was just citing an example relevant to these boards based on the statement that 3rd movies never reference the 1st. When in relaity most trilogies do another example: godfather.I do think ra's is dead too though

With scarecrow back in the game I wonder if we will finally see his stage 2 manifestation. Maybe even someone seeing him in a fear gas induced vision with his complete scarecrow attire including hat and all. Very tall and lanky with long clawed hands, I would like for it to happen to one of batman's imitators(fake batmen).

You know what would be cool is if they made him into the scarebeast. Maybe he sprays someone with gas and that's what they see. Scarebeast was a pretty freakin' awesome Scarecrow story.

Is that the story in which he literally turns into a huge monster?

Yeah, he whooped Batman and Robin at the manor. I don't really remember what happened, but i think it took Batman, Robin and Alfred to stop him. But in the end he became, yet again, a peon...

Maybe I'm biased, but I'd be a bit disappointed if they killed off Scarecrow in TDK. I realise that the Joker is meant to be the most significant villain in said film but, frankly, I thought that Murphy was the best thing about Begins, and one of the best on-screen villains I've ever seen.

What I'd ideally like to see is both Scarecrow and Joker in Arkham at the end of TDK, only for them both to escape in the third and final film during some sort of mass-breakout orchestrated by Two-Face. Then the franchise would reach a truly chaotic conclusion with all of the lunatics running amock at the same time.

I also completely disagree with people who want to see some sort of cartoonish and unhinged Scarecrow in TDK. I thought the business suit with the burlap mask was seriously unsettling, and Crane was scarier as a soft-spoken and controlled psychopath than as a manic nutcase. Obviously he lost the plot at the end of Begins but some sort of copy of the comic book Scarecrow, who in any case was never a carpet-chewing lunatic, would be ridiculous.

Nah. Until proven wrong all movies that have more than two villains are flops. Spiderman 3 and Batman & Robin are classic examples of too many villains spoiling an otherwise neat idea.

A) How was Batman and Robin a "neat idea?" Everything about that movie sucks.

B) Batman Begins had no problem with multiple villains at all.

but there's a difference between these franchises. The Burton/Schumacher franchise and the Spiderman franchise use villians to develop throughout the film. With Nolan's direction, this is all about Batman. You can through in as many villians as you want this new franchise because not all of them have to be developed. And if they're not, then it works because they're not the center of what the film is about.

So just have Joker the head hancho of this "freak" brigade leading all these theatrical rogues through Gotham City causing mayhem. It all depedns on how you write it. Spiderman 3 and Batman & Robin are bad examples because they are in an entirely different nature then this Nolan franchise.

C) The first two X-Men films were great, and had multiple villains.

Batman Begins already proved that wrong, it had three villains (Ra's, Scarecrow, Falcone).

It's not how many villains, it's how well they're juggled.

Batman: MOTP, also handled multiple villains nicely.

It's been awhile since ive watched that. How many villians were in it. I only remember Joker and The Phantasm. I don't really count the old geezer mobsters getting knocked off.

Are we talking about Batman killing his enemies here? If so, then no, Batman should not kill any of his enemies. In the comics, Batman tries to hold back from killing the Joker. Bruce even realises in Batman Begins that if he kills his enemies, then he is just as bad as them. Nolan will respect the source material, and it's not in Batman's character to destroy an opponent.

Nolan's Batman always will be able of some 'But I don't have to save you' euphemism to achieve the same in a passive way.

I don't want Crane killed. Just send the wacko back to Arkham.

Always loved that in the comics, when Crane gassed the Joker with his fear toxin...

the Joker actually enjoyed it.

Says it all really. Badass.

:joker:

i want scarecrow to be in his own prison at the end maybe show him when the put up joker or something if you know what i mean

I hope ScareCrow puts up more of fight in this one; a pitchfork would be awsome and maybe a little bit of that ScareCrow kun-fu. Not like kung-fu but something he copied off of since his last encounter with Bats.
