Well no one seemed to take it that way. You should be more obvious when you're joking.

Listen Mr. "Amazing", I was just joking around, if you are offened by my remarks then just simply don't read them or ignore any of my furture posts. Hope we can still be friends?

p.s. Scarecrow in BB was absolutely perfect in his role as a secondary villain. IMHO

I'm just hoping for one scythe decapitation.

also, seeing some crows flying around in the background would be nice. unlikely, but nice.

It's 'Ms.' actually. And it wasn't just me, other's took note and warned you about your post. I'm just saying to follow the rules of the board.

i'd love to see that:wow:
don't think it'd make in into the movie, but that would be pretty sick onscreen........*pictures in head*:woot:

He was a good pawn, but Scarecrow can be so much more. To be in the realm of excellence, you'd have to be memorable. I honestly can't say Cillian was that.

Really? When he says "It's the Bat-man!" in that way that is both playfully mocking and genuinely wary I think it is extremely memorable. I love that moment. I also love his delivery on "Would you like to see my mask?". He was both creepy and sort of droll there. I thought he stole most scenes he was in.

Yep. I consider his performance very memorable, and would say that he totally qualifies as an excellent villain.

Cillian is a pretty creepy guy, and that role fit him perfectly. Not to compare movie roles, but when I saw Red Eye, I could only think about Scarecrow every time he was on screen.

Whether or not he has a substantial role in TDK doesn't really matter to me as long as he has some part to play.

I loved the scarecrow. The scene where he casually sprays gas in Batman's face then sets him on fire is awesome. In fact, every scene he is in was awesome. A pawn of Raas but that's the way it should be. In the big scheme of things, a villain like the scarecrow is always going to be a small fish in Raas Al Ghul's world. But everywhere else, he is calling the shots.

I was hoping the Scarecrow would return in this movie but if he doesn't there's still the possibility of him returning for the third movie. If he does return he needs to be creepier & much scarier than in BB & I pray to God that they keep Cillian Murphy for the Scarecrow too.

He is coming out he is going to have a fight scene with Gangsters and Batman in a Parking Garage

I think cillian is a good actor but like falcone, and Ras i think he was miscast. as Crane he permenantly looks 25 years old (i think murphy is in his 30s) he wouldnt look out of place in a womens glamour magazine does anyone buy him as a shrink?. and to me there was no X factor to his role it seemed cliched and predictable i always imagined jeff goldbum or an actor of his ilk as scarecrow actors with the acting style and weirdness you need for this role completely wrong casting imo.

wow Jeff Goldbloom.. and you said Cillian was cliche..

Also on the topic of Cillians age he looks like 35ish. Also since it depicts him as young then he probably is really really smart if he is in charge of a mental institution.

Imo he was Jeff Goldbums quirkiness was made for BB Cillian looks like a GQ model did you buy him as a shrink for one millisecond?

um ya why was I not suppose to?
Jeff Goldbloom was great in the fly but I will stand by my comment that "Jeff G. would not make a good scarecrow"

Also Goldbloom hardly looks sinister. He looks like he would actually try and help your problems rather then make em worse.

Jeff Goldbloom as the scarecrow? Eh I suppose but I would really hate to see it, Cillian did a perfect job in my opinion so trying to think of how any one else would do it is kind of hard.

It would be Jeff doing the same stuff as in Independence Day and The Fly and that episode of Southpark with him.

Yeah I couldnt see Jeff doing justice to the scarecrow.

Attractive, hansom shrinks do exist, young ones also, they are not all old 40 Grey haired men or saggy chinned woman.

Most, if not all comics books use idealistic proportions or exaggerated proportions as a norm, to enhance muscle, breasts, curves, enhance mens chins, fatten females lips to give of a beautiful appearance, it's the norm, it's escapism, an augmented reality.

I think that kind of made Cillian freakier. He seemed like a guy who had all this good stuff for him. Not bad looking, very smart but he was very sick in the head. He also acted like a pretty boy when things weren't going his way and cowering at Batman and stuff.

According to wizard scarecrow and dent are shown early in the film

I love Rodney Dangerfield, RIP

anyways... I agree that Cillian was great, and dont think he looks like someone from GQ, he's a good looking guy but he is scrawny and there is a glow in his eye that makes you think his head isnt on quite right, Im a big fan though of him as a actor all together, and Thats why he was cast in Nolans movie cause Nolan liked him so much, and yea, the guy is short too and small so the fact that he takes out Falcone and was trying to gain some of his own power makes him a pretty disturbed guy, and I like the fact that hes got the freckeled face too i think it goes cool with that character, nah Goldblum would be a rotten choice I like the way Nolan isnt taking people who just loook liek the way certain artist draw characters, otherwise we'd have that long ugly faced looking joker played by that *****e bag from oceans 12,,,,, or liev shrieber as twoface, Nolans going for good actors and anyone doubting Cillian as a actor hasnt seen Breakfast on PLuto, or thinks steven segal is a good actor and should play batman, casue he has dark hair and muscles,,,,,,, Which is a good enough reason for me that we dont have a uptight fanboy making the movie, Nolans movies are class not ass,,,, The scene where he lights batman on fire not justfor the visuals or the fact that he LIGHTS BATMAN ON FIRE but becasue he speaks to him as if he is being his pysciatrist which is shows hes totally right fcked in the head even when facing batman,

"Ah, having trouble? Take a seat. Have a drink. You look like a man who takes himself too seriously. You want my opinion? You need to lighten up." than batman is a human fireball

one of the best scene in the movie,,, better than the train scene with Ra's except theres a really cool part i noticed there too Ra's tell bruce "dont be afraid" when he has him pinned down on the train,,, just likebruces dad told him when he fell in the well/hole/cave a cool connection between thomas wayne and ra's since they both were a bit of a father figure to him as different points

Eh whatever i still think murphy is a good actor but no scarecrow he was alright but picking up a comic book (liike knightfall) and seeing how scarecrow really is and should have been done is painfull for me Crane isnt a GQ model type shrink who looks younger then bruce wayne. the trouble with the likes of ras, scarecrow and zsasz in BB is i didnt see them as the real rogues gallery villains we know and love they are far too diluted as to make them ordinary and uninteresting reading the likes of dark victory, knightfall ect makes them look even worse imo.
