I'd like to see a confrontation between the two, You have "jonathon crane" a psychiatrist that goes wack, that thinks he can understand everyone and there fears, and you have a guy, that is fearless, and nobody understands....how can you NOT have a scene between these two, and the joker being the greater of the two evils, i see coming out as being triumphant, i could definetly see scarecrow curling up in a ball in a corner after being spray with the feargas, and joker just walking voer going 'boo!' and laughing, and then the scarecrow saying he could deal with the batman, crane sets up batman, or even dent, he tells joker what his plan is, joker is about to kill crane, batman comes in, batman chooses to chase crane, joker just walks away casually. joker now has the idea of how to stop batman which would be stopping dent & gordon.

I personally think scarecrow will get away during the "parking garage" scene. Why would nolan leave him to be in the second movie if hes just gonna be killed towards the beginning? He should be put to good use. I think he'll be tied into the plot some how, then he'll get killed in the middle of the movie or something

^ There's a photo with Crane tied up with the vigilantes and some other crooks (presumably the chechens). He doesn't get away :cwink:. It was one of the early leaked images if you want to find it.

Gotham after midnight

Bats in this pic looks like Begins fear gas Batman .

I'd bet money Scarecrow only appears in the garage scene. It's tying up a loose end from Begins and will show how dominant Batman is -- how easily he takes down a bunch of criminals, which will later serve to show what an unstoppable force Joker is.

Yea I'm pretty sure Joker is gonna make Scarecrow look like small potatoes.

Hes not tied up. Are you talking about the one with the batmen in it? If so hes not tied up

If you don't want to read any spoilers then don't read below.....

I was there when they filmed Scarecrow. Below is my footage from that night.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFDQMeZCvSU

there is no audio on my camera sorry. You wouldn't hear anything anyway.

So after they filmed this scene, they filmed one with Fake Batman jumping in. Actually there is a sound of a gunshot when they all run away, then fake batman attacks them, Scarecrow gasses him. And the gang attacks fake batman. (I coulnd't get a good enough view to video tape, my camera dosen't zoom in very well as you can tell)

From what I've seen...I'm guessing they kidnap fake batman (for the joker?)

However...that white van gets attacked by batman in the trailer... so maybe batman rescues the fake one?

i am really hoping for the confrontation b/t scarecrow and joker. or batman saving scarecrow's life as the joker just tries to nonchalantly kill him so he can be number one in gotham. kinda like him and the holiday killer competing in TLH but not to that extent

How much screentime do you guys think the scarecrow will have in TDK ?

2-3 minutes, 5 max. His one scene near the beginning of the film is most likely it for him.
That's what I think too, it seems like there is so much going on already that there wouldn't be that much room for him anyway, but I like that he has what is likely to be a cameo nonetheless.

Same here. I'm glad they are bringing closure to the character.

Isnt Scarecrow just a cameo so far in the movie
o.o

if anything he is interesting i wouldnt complain if he showed up for more but eh if hes only around for one scene it would be a great way to say yes this is a sequal to BB see we caught the guy that got away

Maybe it's just me,but I don't think he recieved enough screentime in BB. I understand the Joker is the focus and I'm perfectly happy with that, but I just don't like the idea of Scarecrow appearing for 3 minutes and then being captured or killed. It's like,Nolan was thinking "Well,we gotta at least show him but let's get him out of the way already so we can focus on the Joker."
It just kinda sounds like a throwaway role to me.

being KO'd with a chair would be a fair step down from being defeated by a taser :funny:

Cillian Murphy was better than half of the other main actors in BB. I reckon he should get as much time as possible. Continuity is just awesome too I see no reason why he shouldn't be in movie three in meaningful way. The direction of these movies is that Gotham is becoming populated by freaks anyway, why throw away a great villain just because he was already in the first two movies? That's an advantage, same goes for Zsasz too. And it's not hard to find uses for them that don't take up alot of time.

I never found Zsasz particularly interesting in Begins, so with him I can take him or leave him. But I felt Murphy's performance as Crane was very good. And yeah, I'm sure he'll fit right in there with other actors we wish we would have seen more of in such and such movies. Especially with the reports I've read regarding Cillian's role in TDK.

I loved Murphy in Begins and I'm loving him at least appearing in TDK. If it's just for one scene, then it will be a shame. Nevertheless I'm sure it will be a good one.
