Scariest Moment of Your Life

Jesus sh_t... that'd be the scariest moment of my life, too. But hey, at least you're alive. Means today's a good day, right?

You make a great point! It does make today a little better:)

But every time i tell that story (b/c my friend made me tell him several times), i still get claustraphobic and my breathing feels constricted as I relive it in my mind...

...The night that happened I had my first and only migrane. I know it's the only one b/c I've had headaches my whole life, and that's the only one that made my stomach sick from the pain.

Lets just say it involved Federal Agents and and a plan to save the world. :ninja:

the scariest moment definitely involved hallucinogenic mushrooms . . . . so there was no real danger

but yeah, doing a 180 on the freeway in my mom's brand new jeep (she'd bought it 2 days earlier) and crashing into the concrete divider

liar. You live in a mountain and watch birds and farm wheat.

I was at the Milwaukee Zoo (circa 1970) with my sister & her two children. We were in the monkey area when Samson the gorilla decided to test the structural integrity of his enclosure by running into a glass(very thick)wall over & over & over again. I thought for sure it was going to give way. I was shaking in my shoes. Everyone else was just like oooh aaah. Samson has since passed on. He's probably the most recognized inhabitant in the history of the zoo.

-Getting arrested
-Almost getting arrested
-House on Fire
-Tree falls on car with me in it
-9/11 (Mom 3 blocks away)
-Car crash

Crossing a street, and because of 2 idiots in separate cars, almost got hit full-speed by a taxi. One guy switched his lanes without a signal, and the taxi about to be overtaken was in a hurry (it was a yellow light), so he swerved over to where I was (just over the sidewalk) and brushed my arm by a hair. That's how close I was to getting hit.

I think it took a couple of seconds for the whole thing to register, damn thing just blurred right past me. F'n NYC cab drivers.

finding out I'm slowly going deaf
seeing my father died at home

almost getting into an accident in downtown new orleans at 2AM and then getting chased down by the car full of thugs, having them trap our car at a stop sign because the moronic chick i was riding with kept stopping for them, and then getting jacked in the jaw by a big dude and fearing that they were going to open fire on us or just drag us out of the car and beat the crud out of us.

For me, it coincides with sadness i guess. Earlier this year i had to put my kitty to sleep, and as afraid as i was to go in there with him, no one else would. And i honestly didnt know how it would feel, how it would work and how id handle it. I was definately afraid, terribly afraid actually, though more on an emotional level.

Aww :( My kitty back home needs to be put to sleep but no one will do it.......I'm afraid I'm gonna go home and he'll be dead :(

1. The first ride Ive ever been on, when I was like five...It was the scarriest crap ever!

2. This kid, literally 3 times my size (some loser who was held back in the 7th grade and was 18) wanted to fight me...and I was like 80 or 90 pounds...I was skirred :(

3. When I was the only one in the house...it was like 11 pm and my parents or sisters weren't home yet, there was this weird guy who kept looking at my house and walking back and forth in front of it with his dog...it was scary

4. I was on this plane, the first time I ever went on a plane by myself (no family)..well anything, the flight kept on getting delayed for bad weather but when we got on it kept on shaking violently, It scared the crap out of me

Questionable. I've had what I would call more fear from dreams than from actual real life events.

Likewise.

When I was 15 I got lost walking in the woods by myself. This was in northern Wisconsin where there is just a country club place then NOTHING but woods for miles and miles and miles and miles. I had no idea where I was and was lost for about 6 hours. When it got dark I finally saw some lights, but they were across this huge ass lake so I had to walk allllll the way around the lake at night and didn't go in the woods again.

They were doing some sort of construction in the woods too so all I could hear were chainsaws for like 3 hours. Then the rest of the time I heard things following me. :csad: I just wanted to start running and screaming.
