On the bare mid-riff for the picture, other than the great range of motion that it would allow anyone that has been brave enough to sit through Ultraviolet knows that Milla's abs are to sexy to cover up. So there is that as well. I'd prefer seeing an athletic, toned mid section over excessive fatty tissue.

And of course Black Widow the comic book character has huge knockers...she is a comic book character hence it is a mandatory requirement to be drawn that way most of the time. But that doesn't mean that some artist haven't draw her with a more slender body fit for someone as quick and agile as the character is supposed to be.

IM is supposed to be semi-realistic, though. BW would be a really ****** spy if she went around without covering herself up. People seem to think that Scarlett overflowing at the chest like Pamela Anderson on Baywatch would be fine and realistic so I really don't see how an exposed mid-driff would be that unrealistic.

The reason Widow's able to do that is because she uses stealth, something which would be compromised if she was running around with a bare mid-riff which in the darkness would look like a huge target for people to shoot at. Her targets have less options to shoot at her when she's in dark clothing since they will find it much harder it find her because she blends into shadows, like Batman does.

And if she was in the situation then she would be good enough to avoid the attacks entirely.

Those missions usually have her in her standard black uniform any way. Another reason could be that if she encountered enemies she'd be wearing a costume that would give her the advantage when in the field for bad guys. Baring her mid-riff is not an advantage.

It depends on the circumstances where her mid-riff as exposed. Alias did it correctly. Whenever Syd had to infiltrate somewhere like a beach or used her sex appeal to get close to a target she'd use sexy clothing. But when she had to go in spy mode she always covered up. Occasionally these happened on the same mission, too.

How is that relevant? Milla didn't get the role, and I doubt "incredible" training was necessary. Milla wasn't Favs' first choice, Emily Blunt was. I don't think Blunt has had any weapons training

I'd also have to think that Jovovich having played what is basically the same thing as BW in a half dozen terrible movies has something to do with her not being seriously considered

SJ is going to need more than just gun training and The Island had her using a hangdun only right? SJ has what, like a month before filming starts? Even guys like Deniro flinch and shut their eyes when using firearms during a scene. That needs to be avoided entirely.

Let me guess, Resident Evil 1-3 and Ultraviolet are the only other movies you've seen her in.

Dummy, .45, The Claim, No Good Deed, You Stupid Man, Million Dollar Hotel (boring movie though).

Also, Black Widow is a TALL, ATHLETIC, and curvy woman. Scarlett fits the last one. She is short, soft, and has an average body with her breasts being her main attraction. Oh and she doesn't come close to looking like an exotic beauty.

And like other have stated, Milla's nearly year long training for Ultraviolet (which she trained for while shooting Resident Evil 2) just shows her dedication to physical fitness.

Also, I like how people keep saying over and over that Scarlett is cast so stop talking about who you'd really like to see play the role and to stop saying that Scarlett isn't really right for the role. Like only positive things can be said about her but everyone else can be trashed.

Again, sorry for thinking a naturally athletic Ukranian born actress would be better for the Russian spy character. My opinion is that Milla would crush Scarlett in this role, you aren't going to change my mind.

Hell, just out of a cool "6 degrees of seperation" type of thing with would be awesome for Milla to play Black Widow.

Jackson is Fury, he was in No Good Deed with Milla and she played a criminal that seduces Jackon's character.

RDJ played Chaplin and Milla played his wife.

If Alexander Skarsgård get cast as Thor like so many people want and his dad Stellan Skarsgård gets cast as Odin then that means she would be connected to both the Skarsgårds as well cause Alexander was in Zoolander with Milla and Stellan was also in No Good Deed.

This thread was 15 pages of *****ing about Scarlett until this Milla tangent... no one is saying to stop saying that Scarlett isn't really right for the role. However, she's officially signed on, so it'd be kinda nice if this was a thread about her and her role in the film, and didn't turn into another fantasy casting thread.
