-More Cyke, at least in the final battle. I could see him missing the bulk of the movie to keep Jean going schizo, but he could return at the end and help take her out.

-More depth to the scenes, it was too fast paced, which made it hard to feel the emotions of certain scenes. (esp. Mystique being cured)

Shadow, your script, while decent, is a bit...convenient. It doesn't really follow any logic other than "this is what happened in the comics", sometimes to the letter. It doesn't particuarly speak to the movieverse's characters.

What would I add?

-A scene between Colossus and Kitty, showing Xavier's impact even on someone like Colossus, and providing him with a bit of depth

-Angel saving people in the battle.

-And Scott/Logan taking out Phoenix in the final battle after Scott calmed her for an instant, but I don't think Marsden's schedule allowed for it.

Not really. Wolverine never regains his memory from Pheonix, Maddy is not a young girl (nor would I add that, thats just for fun)*, and Victor Creed being hunted down is just a great set up for film Wolverine. Plus beforehand I would have killed Magneto. Yes I use stuff right out of the comic, its good stuff...however I put my own twist on it. The characters must behave as they would, they don't have to do things in the exact same way as far as I am concerned.

*I should also mention if I did X3, X4 as I would do them. X3 "Phoenix" would be about Cyclops, but X4 would most certainly not be about Sinister or Cyclops....I would want to do a Storm story or Iceman story or Angel story or Rogue story instead.

Well I cannot take full credit, Claremont helped....however I think it shows that Cyclops really is a driving force for Jean in ways Wolverine is not. I don't like using too many lines out of the comic, and like to establish my own thoughts and events. (For example the Hellfire club being Shaw, Cameron Hodge, Warren Worthington (kind of the betrayed member), Emma Frost and Destiny). Or the Shi'ar being an extension of the Project: Wideawake (like the Warstars being Sentinel models and Gladiator being a mutant marine, Lilandra being Colonel Lyla Andrews...that sort of thing). And no I don't like to follow the precise storyline either. However I think X1 and X2 are inadaquate so everything needs tweeking.
