We've talked about this before and I know a lot of people weren't for it (because they weren't building it correctly at the time) but a Bryan vs. Henry main event at Wrestlemania (David vs. Goliath) seems more and more likely.

If I had to build a roadmap to that match, I would do it like they're doing it already. Next week Henry and Bryan have a close match with Henry beating him at the end followed by a huge beating, putting Bryan out till TLC.

Henry beats Show to end their feud at TLC, Bryan comes out and nails Henry with MITB.

Bryan goes "giant hunting", biding his time to Wrestlemania taking on bigger and bigger challenges (this is where The Great Khali would've been great to have around).

......yeah, I know......arm-chair booking.

Dude, arm chair booking is part of the deal here.

I like that. We get some kind of closure on Punk/Nash and they need to blow off HHH vs Nash quick because its not worth wasting a major PPV slot on. Nash seems lacking as far as character these days and there's no need for the same old same old from HHH with a guy who is over half a century old.

Yep, they can wrap that all up before Christmas and then start booking fresh for the new year, hopefully by laying plans for Punk vs Triple H at Mania.

I was thinking it could be for Skip Sheffields new character but news reports now are saying different.

I just read your spoiler.

Interesting type of vignette for Jericho, very dark, but he did say he wanted to try a whole new type of character when he came back.

Ohhh..when skanks attack. :wow:

We got one nasty passed around mark/has been doing battle on Facebook with a nasty passed around never was. The fight for relevance continues. The hilarity. :hehe:

HOF ass? I guess Sunny's had just as many WWE stars in it as the real WWE HOF.

Oh no! that bastion of demureness Sunny who slept with half of the WWF and ECW locker-room while married, gave BJ's for pills and snorted coke is way too proper to take it in da butt, you should have seen her reaction in a shoot interview when Francine told her Major Guns had in some porno, she was horrified at such debauchery!

I quite like how this could play, Bryan working his way over powerhouses to get ready for Henry, and I also think bringing in his first trainer Shawn Michaels, who had a history of giant killing, to be in his corner in the build up to Mania would help give the match a bigger aura and give Bryan the star rub.

Agreed, by next summer at the latest they should be the top 2 heels in the company. I actually think Ziggler is the ideal streak opponent for Taker at Mania 28, though sadly I feel Barrett will get the gig.
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. Barrett isn't bad, but he's not quite the level they seem to think he is. Cody Rhodes should have been the leader of the Survivor Series team.

By most accounts, John Morrison is said to be gone from WWE in the beginning of December when his deals runs out.

Both sides are said to want out of their relationship with each other. A main sticking point with Morrison is said to be that he is bothered by the fact Melina cannot travel on the road with him.

TNA has expressed strong interest in both Morrison and Melina coming into the company together. There has been talk of rebuilding the X-Division around Morrison and having him be the star attraction for the Division

It's reasons like these that I hate the wives of celebrities when they divorce. Say what you want about Hulk Hogan but crap this is just wrong.....

CONTINUING LEGAL BATTLES PAINT AN ANYTHING BUT PRETTY PICTURE FOR HULK HOGAN
by Dave Scherer @ 10:30 PM on 11/22/2011

The St. Petersburg Times ran a story about the financial state of Hulk Hogan after his divorce from now ex-wife Linda and the picture isn't pretty. Here are some factoids as to what happened when the two divorced in 2009.*Linda Bollea got more that 70% of the couple's liquid assets.

*Hulk agreed to give her 40 percent ownership in his various companies and pay her an additional $3 million "property settlement," according to the filing.

* Linda Bollea received $7.44 million of the couple's $10.41 million that was held in various bank and investment accounts. Hulk got the remaining $2.97 million, though he does not have to pay her alimony (nor should he, jeez).

*The ex-couple will split the money that comes from the sales of their Clearwater Beach, FL home as well as the Belleair, FL home where "Hogan Knows Best" was filmed, whenever they say. Linda already got $1.65 million from the sale of the beach home and Hulk will have pay her the rest when Belleair sells.

The formerly confidential financial settlement was released this week in a motion filed by Hulk's attorneys to respond to queries Linda made concerning revenues that Hulk's company's have generated.

Geez Hogan, that's worse than Ric Flair. :csad:

They should honestly start building a CM Punk and Rock main event for Wrestlemania. Cena is a top guy and all but watching that promo he did last night was just...not that good. Punk could totally handle it on the mic with The Rock and they'd have a FANTASTIC match

I almost agree but make no mistake about it, the money match is Cena vs The Rock. There's no doubt in my mind that Punk going after Rock on the mic would be good, but the already planned match is where the money is right now. Cena needs to get off this goody two shoes, milk and cookies stuff and go off on The Rock. He doesn't need to turn heel, but he does need to grow some balls and stop getting chumped.

And for those saying Ziggler should be main-event heel next year...ABSOLUTELY. It's been a long time coming since he started that gimmick in 2009. He's matured. He can talk on his own, generate heel heat on his own. That was his biggest hurdle, as he even when he was green he was still solid.

It's funny to me that they stopped Ziggler's push in 2009 and gave it to Drew McIntyre. And here we are two years later, Ziggler's more over and main-event primed while McIntyre's on Superstars.

So whipped.

I'm sure Melina must have done some sort of Jedi Mind Tricks on John Morrison to get him so whipped

She just kept yelling until he caved.

Agreed but at least Cody survived, I was sure Orton would pin him before falling to Barrett. For me Ziggler's style would give Taker the best match, he'll bump his ass off for the Deadman and won't require Taker to carry a cumbersome opponent.

I'm not sure that is actually true at this point, I think the line begins and ends with "The Rock is the money match", he could face one of about 5 guys and draw around the same buyrate IMO.

The WWE are trying to bill this as the battle of the faces of two generations, but they aren't. Austin was the face the of Attitude Era for starters, and Cena is the forced face of the PG generation, a guy who gets as many boos as cheers and who loses the crowd any time he faces another top face never mind cool heels. He is the guy that to half the audience is the face of everything that has changed for the worse about the business.

So I think this Mania, in Miami with a probable HOF induction the night before, is mainly about drawing money off The Rock as he has no equal in this current generation. Cena is so far down the track now I'm not sure he can turn back the tide of hate for him, it may well just come off as trying too hard, and no matter what he does he will get booed out of Miami, heck this is a guy who gets booed in his own home town, a venue that is usually a refuge for even the most hated heel.

Personally as an aside I think if he'd come out of retirement HBK vs The Rock could outdraw Cena vs The Rock, it's arguably the biggest dream match across generations that is left.

I'm not saying Punk would do any better against The Rock, could he have a better match? yes because he's a better worker, would the promos be stronger? yes because Punk has way more to his character and is genuinely venomous when he wants to be. However it's too soon in Punk's ascendancy for him to stand as a legit name opposite The Rock, he doesn't have the big main events under his belt for that to stick, maybe in two years but not now. However Punk has shown that it's a fallacy that a guy cannot be over with all the age groups in the crowd, he wasn't at first but it didn't take long for the kids and women to get on his bandwagon as well, so it may well have been the more interesting pairing with The Rock.

Translation: Even TNA is telling Morrison he'll never be more than a midcarder.

I don't know how this gimmick didn't get over, but man did Brain and Gorilla work hard trying to get it over, god bless em.

They should bring him back to repossess Cena's nads since he isn't using them anymore.

He would try, but once he got down there he'd find that Vince replaced them with milk and cookies.

HOF ass? I guess Sunny's had just as many WWE stars in it as the real WWE HOF.

I was wondering what she was talking about when she said Sunny got fat. Did a quick Google search and saw some recent pictures...UGH! She DID get pretty big. Yikes.

Sunny was SUPER hot when she first started in WWF...she was probably the hottest "Diva" WWE ever had, in my opinion, but man...she did not hold up to the test of time. I'd probably still hit that though. :oldrazz:

If you did hit your junk would probably fall off right after from overload of diease. As far as the world heavyweight title match at mania I'm kinda partial to the triple threat henry/bryan/sheamus idea. Sheamus could win the rumble and bryan gets in because of MITB.Also they can play off how sheamus/Bryan were bumped off mania last year and now they aren't going to be denied.

This is the downside but man...in her day she was smokin' hot. If she still looked like that it may actually be worth it. :oldrazz:

Trish was always my dream diva look wise. She looks even better brunette.Mickie James is right there up with her.

I actually still have my poster of Trish up in my room. She is definitely right up there with Sunny. And Mickie James is definitely up there for me too. She is like a crazy kind of hot. :woot:

Words cannot describe how STUPID Morrison is being. Dude was on his way to main eventing in the biggest wrestling organization in the WORLD and he chucks it for a CHICK? WTF?

I have lost all respect for Morrison. He let some road beef cost him his career. Dude give your man card to John Cena. He could put it to better use in the WWE right now after the way he's been booked.

The kicker will be in a couple of months when he's at TNA or some indie fed and finds out she's cheating on him with some jobber.

Morrison needed to remember what Snoop said about chicks- "Don't love em"

Yeah, that's why I don't give a damn about John Morrison anymore. How many times has he screwed up a push for himself because of some Melina drama? He wants to leave WWE because they won't let him take Melina on the road? Melina probably wants to be backstage so she can bang someone like Brodus Clay during Morrison's matches.

While I would love to see Morrison in TNA simply because I think there are some phenominal match-ups for him there I would like to watch, he is an absolute moron for burying what could be a huge career and the hihest spot he could ever have for a crazy chick who has an attitide problem and has cheated on him.

Candido 2.0

Not a bad analogy, but Candido pretty much advanced as far as he could: he just didn't have the look to be more than a midcarder. Morrison could have been a poor man's Shawn Michaels, which is not a bad thing to be and would have likely put him where Daniel Bryan or Ziggler is now, but he just couldn't get the job done, and now he's not even a midcarder anymore.

True, but I think Chris was a talented guy, who let Tammy ruin his career.
