Discuss Episode 7: "Stick" here.

An important figure from Murdock's past reemerges seeking his help to battle a new enemy threatening Hell's Kitchen.
ANY SPOILERS FOR EPISODES BEYOND THIS ONE MUST BE TAGGED.

This was the first episode I didn't care much for so far, but I feel like a lot of stuff could still be expanded on.

Also...
that eending through me for a loop.. I wonder who stick was talking to? I'm too tired to find out though lol.

Really like Stick as a character.

Agreed. But I think it was necessary in setting the ground work for the more fantastical elements of the Daredevil mythos, assuming the "War" Stick was talking about is the one between [BLACKOUT]The Hand and The Chaste.[/BLACKOUT]

Ah see, I know nothing about Daredevil so any allusion to future stuff went right over my head lol. Just going along for the ride.

Just finished this episode. Scott Glenn as Stick is gold. Pretty disappointed we didn't found out what The Black Sky actually is. A kid with superpowers, I think. Wish they had expanded on that.

For a quite restrained show, the ending scene at the end came off a bit cheesy.

I loved the episode, Stick was awesome. For me it feels like every episode is a step up from the last.

Who was this guy Stick was talking to? Was it Aito?

The Fight between Stick and Matt in this episode was great probably one of the best fights in the series so far.

The credits had a name I didn't recognize for this episode. The character was called Aito. Actor's name was Yasu Suzuki. Could've been that guy. Have no idea.

If it was Izo, I guess that would make sense.

Aito could have easily been one of Nobu's goons.

This was my favorite episode because of the father sub plot. Hit me in the feels!

I'm disappointed this was the only episode we got for Stick because Scott Glenn was so awesome.

that was a really sweet callback with the ice cream wrapper, got a little misty eyed.

Scott Glenn was perfectly cast as Stick. I was really looking forward to the flashback scenes and they did not disappoint.

I loved Scott Glenn in this part, and Stick's "Spartan" mentality on the whole made perfect sense and was a great foil to Matt's philosophy. Like, you can see how it made Matt the way he is while he could never subscribe to it himself. Really wanna know who Stick was talking to at the end.

But what are
The doors and why do Stick and the other dude want Daredevil to go through them?

I haven't seen the rest of the season, so I don't know if it comes back yet, but I wonder if whoever that guy was at the end will tie into Iron Fist or one of the other shows.

Could tie to the defenders

Boy!!! Scott Glenn is killin' it!! This episode is amazing.

An interesting episode.

Was the kid someone/thing from the comics?

Is Matt known to have received training from others beside Stick?
