It opens up with this history montage, from Caveman era to Western to 1940s and to Modern era... Showing us Krull the Savage, Cowboy thieves, Nazis and Ras' al Ghul... then showing us how the world always had heroes to stop them from Jonah Hex to JSA to Batman himself! But then it cuts to OA where Starro succeedingly conquered them all, and then it cuts to the title:

SIEGE OF STARRO! PART 1!

Starro has arrived to earth and who are there to stop him?! Batman, Captain Marvel, B'wanana Beast, Firestorm and Booster Gold, allright!

This episode shows practically EVERYONE from the show! Yes even Calculator's mother makes an appearance! I really don't wanna spoil much, but those are the heroes who are fightning this desperate invasion. They get very clever ideas, but Faceless Hunter has more tricks up his sleeve!!!

I don't really wanna rate this episode, because it deserves to be seen the 2nd episode, but this can be the two-parter that tops Owlman arc! It was so surprising and good! I never knew it would have C-heroes in the episode as the focus! I was so sure this would be where we get to see the big ol' JLA, but hey maybe we still will! I'm just optimisticly surprised they are keeping the trend of C/D heroes!

Great episode! can't wait for part 2. Yeah pretty much everyone shows up and has a cameo. Faceless Hunter is pretty awesome, while Bwana Beast and Booster Gold gets some more screentime!

That's what I was thinking. I have it set on my DVR. Why didn't I see this episode yet? Why?! I've been waiting to see what they were going to do with Starro after the teasers they've had.

apparently it aired in the UK on june 16. For america is airs in july.

i did manage to see it though.

I know we can't ask for links to bootlegs, but how are you guys seeing the episode? Are you all in another country or are there other methods. I'm not a fan of bootlegging but when they delay the episode this much I can't help myself.

Are you downloading torrents? Cause I don't trust those, had a bad experience with one once.

Do I perhaps need to search for an obscure title on youtube or veoh?

Well I'm using torrents (with no problems so far). But I have no choise as they dont air the show in my country. The Starro Siege pt 1 is awesome by the way, cant wait for the coonclusion.

Part 2.... No words. This was an epic two-parter with a really great sendoff. YOu guys will *love this*

10/10 from this two-parter. Also keep an close eye for Silver Age Brainiac & DCAU's Hro Talak (the "evil" Hawkman) making a cameo.

I thought the entire episode sucked right up until Aquaman titled the adventure.

Props to aquaman for making it worth my 3 dollars.

Too bad Supes and WW weren't cleared for this. They could have had the entire DCU make cameos.

I finally got to watch this episode. Wow again this series does such an amazing job in opening up the DCU's rosters to the public . It's a real shame that this series is ending in season 3.

I love the opening teaser where we see Villains from the past, present and future are always subjected to fail in their plans for World domination because wherever their is evil and injustice a Hero will emerge to fight for Truth and Justice .

I love the cameo of heroes that appear in this episode.

Who didn't geek out when we got an Homage to the JLA comic of Starro debut .

I can't wait for part 2 .
