Good Episode. I especially liked seeing Michael Wright as La La's "maker".

With Robert Townsend and Michael Wright on the show, Black Lightening now has two members of the Five Heartbeats .

That's a reference to the great Robert Townsend film The Five Heartbeats ,which I highly recommend . All they need now is Henry Lenix and Leon to appear and they'll have the group.

Yes it was a pretty good episode and yes The Five Heartbeats is a good movie.

Man, of all the DC live action shows, this one makes me go "Huh? WTF?" the most.

 

[Thriller]

A good episode, if this was some regular suspense drama. Lala is back, for what? He shoots Jefferson because he blames him for killing Earl, then admits towards the end that its his own fault. That took up a good, or not so good, third of the episode. Waste of time to me. It was down to Thunder to yet again inject some action into the show. Jennifer was funny though, with her yearning for a dope superhero suit. Agent Percy was involved in a sinister turn in the episode. Who is he really?
