Anyone else notice the similarity between Bran perking up at Littlefinger using the word "Chaos" and Cooper's response to certain catchphrases (agent, case files, damn good) he used in previous seasons of Twin Peaks?
How big is Drogon? Like the size of Spanish galleon or something?
He's huge but I kinda wanna get an accurate measurement.
According to Martin, this is what a full grown dragon is supposed to look like.

Is he though? We've seen no reaction yet from the bannermen on what they think of Bran's return (note: not sure Littlefinger counts since he tries to butter up with anyone that he perceives as someone that could have power)

The dragons this year are the size of 747s, director Matt Shakman tells EW. Drogon is the biggest of the bunch his flame is 30-feet in diameter!
Shakman is one of four directors helming next season (the others are GoT vets Alan Taylor, Jeremy Podeswa, and Mark Mylod). He was probably being at least somewhat approximate when comparing the dragons to the venerable Boeing airliner. But for reference, a 747 is about 230 feet long with a 210 feet wingspan.

Yeah Dany's dragons are big, but Aegon the Conqueror's were far bigger still.
Traditionally it would have been difficult for someone in Bran's situation to be accepted as a Lord but given the way things had gone for House Stark in recent memory, there's no reason why he wouldn't have been considered had he wanted it.
I mean Bran already essentially had the role back in season 1 or 2. The reality however now is that even if he did want it, with Westeros now in open war, their bannermen would still probably choose Sansa or Jon. Even Arya.
All and anyways, Bran is basically gone. It's a mute debate unfortunately.
I don't think they seem terribly adverse to it, look at Lyanna Mormont, a girl (and one who's all of, what, 10/11 at that), and yet she appears to be given respect by the other Lords of the North (I love her, she's such a little badass and her speech at the end of last season shaming the other Lord's that didn't answer the call and proclaiming Jon her King is still one of my favorite speeches in the show)how much support would the northmen give to a woman in charge?
Writing is still so all over the place...."Which lady Stark?", Brienne reacting to Needle, even though she did see that sword before...mess.
