The Flash goes off the grid to look for answers about a new Meta in town; Allegra pulls out all of the stops at CC Citizen Media, to protect a source and a friend.

This episode was directed by Danielle Panabaker and will air on June 8th

Pretty weak episode, even for The Flash filler episode standards. Even the scene(s) between Flash and Thawne was pretty poor due to Cavanaugh's "acting" there.

The supporting cast these days, particularly Allegra and Chester just aren't interesting enough to carry these filler episodes.

But HOLY CRAP! FINALLY the return of the original Thawne! Cannot wait for that

How did I know that Allegra would once again get a new power upgrade in order to survive this episode?

So many repeated bits of dialogue, it felt like I was watching a basic childs show.

Oh the Barry and Thawne scenes made this episode but the Allegra and Chester story didn’t really grab me. I liked the new speedster at the end and glad that Dr. Meena isn’t evil at least so far as we know. Overall looking forward to the final Graphic Novel of season. Also like that Caitlin sent that video and let the team and us know that she needs time to heal.

This week saw debuts of new superheroes. In Superman and Lois we have Natalie Irons as Steel Girl. Here we have Dr Meena Dhawan as Fasttrack from the comics.

I can’t believe that we’re getting OG Thawne and Wells Thawne together in season 8 since season 1. if I remember correctly so that’s pretty exciting.
