I couldn't find one and no one made one, so I decided to make this thread in appreciation for the short-lived second lieutenant, JAZZ

Here's to hoping that Jazz will be back and we'll get to see more of him.

>^..^<

I liked movie Jazz. I think that they should've waited until the sequel before killing off any of the Autobots since it would've allowed them to further establish them.

I wouldn't mind if they decided to bring him back in the sequel.

i didnt even know jazz was second lieutenant until i played the autobots game for the ds. seriously, the autobots were definitely more develpoed and fleshed out in this game than the movie, especially jazz.

Wasn't he also in the cartoon ??

One of the 1st episodes had Optimus ordering Jazz to orgazine a assault team

That's right. He seemed to play a "sarge" sorta role... where Prime would relay orders to him and he'd take care of the rest. Plus his toy bio card describes him as Optimus Prime's "right hand man." I guess this wasn't always stressed..... but I know I grew up thinking Jazz was definately a superior officer.

I found him a bit annoying in the film (at the Witwickys') but his destruction was quite a shock ! :o
I hope he won't be brought back because his sacrifice would be meaningless.

What sacrafice? Megatron picked him up, stomped on him and then tore him in two. Not exactly a lot of fighting from Jazz's end if you ask me.

I always thought Ironhide was Prime's second in command in the cartoon. In the episode "Prime Problem" when Megatron confuses the Autobots but sending in a Prime clone Ironhide takes command and says "he will give the orders" Ironhide even says "Autobots transform and roll out"

I thought they could have done a lot more with Jazz, ecspecially a better build up to the fight between him and Megatron.

Of course the transformer that talks like he's Black gets killed.:cwink:

I hope he comes back some way.

If they do bring him back(which wouldn't surprise me) I hope they pick a slightly bigger vehicle, he should atleast be bigger then BB. I think thats one of the reason Why Bay killed him off he stated he never really liked Jazz's design and he thought he was to small, I can't remember were I read it, it might have been in a Wizard magazine. I could see them bringing him back as a different car, its not like we really got an indepth look into his character anyway so his death to Megatron didn't really hit the audience like it should have.

Even a black Robot can't get a break lol. i think we need to have a million autobot march quick somebody get Farrakhanatron on the phone and while your at call Al Sharptonox.

Jazz was awesome in the film..."come on Decepticon punk".

I really liked him but I would prefer it if he stayed dead....but then again I wouldn't be disappointed if he did come back.

He did sacrifice himself when megatron showed up and Optimus Prime wasn't there. He distracted Megatron to give Ironhide and the others a chance to get away. That's heroic sacrifice if you ask me.

A reserection of Jazz would be nice; after all he was the best autobot in the movie.........next to Ironhide.

I would have loved to have seen Jazz fight Starscream. They were both second-in-command, so it would make sense.

Megatron blasted him. He got caught by the blast, and then carried to the top of a building. There was no heroic sacrifice or standoff between the two. Where are people getting this stuff from?

Of course you also had Prowl who seemed liked Prime's number two. It seemed like Prowl, Ironhide and Jazz all shared the second spot. Of course in season three Ultra Magnus was clearly Rodimus Prime's number 2.

Anyway back to Jazz....I loved him
