And before anyone says anything in reference to that statement, I'm African-American myself....

And since Jazz had the personality of a brotha, which was fairly obvious during his introduction, I thought it would be fairly accurate in classifying him as that. I was just making reference to Jazz being the only Autobot to die out of all of them. Sure, Bumblebee was injured, but if anything, I would think Ironhide would be the first to go, since he had such a gung-ho attitude about violence and hand to hand combat, and not Jazz.

I guess if its any consolation, at least Jazz got taken out by none other than Megatron himself. It's just a shame that if a sequel is made, he won't be back...

You never know. Prime did retrieve a piece of the Allspark from Megs' chest. It may have some juice left in it.

>^..^<

Well other than the hundreds of people killed in the base attack, the first human to be shown being killed was a white person. R.I.P. Glasses Guy.

darkies dont drive stories in action films unless they are starred by wesley snipes...

they are collateral damage.

i would say that the reason Jazz was killed was because he was the smallest, easiest to kill (i'm sure that's still a big part of the reason why he was killed) but if BB had been the smallest i doubt they would've killed him off...

...i guess they had to kill off the autobot who had the most personality besides Prime and BB so they went with Jazz. i seriously doubt it had anything to do with him being "black".

I guess if Ironhide and Rachet were protecting Sam while delivering the Allspark, someone had to distract Megatron... Jazz just didn't strike me as the type to do any hand to hand combat with Megatron, seeing that there's a huge size difference between the two.

well, if i remember correctly...they never showed Jazz trying to fight Megatron head on. i remember when Megatron went to the city he happened to appear right behind Jazz. then it cut to something different. i think the next shot of them was Megatron in the air already holding Jazz about to throw and stomp on him.

the way i see it...Megatron killing Jazz was similar to the way the T-Rex from Jurassic Park appeared out of nowhere and killed a small dinosaur while Dr. Grant and the kids where watching safely behind a dead tree.

If Blaster is the first Autobot to die in the sequel I'll be pissed. :yay:

Now that I think about it, wasn't Jazz on top of a building pillar, being a looking out? I just have this visual of Megatron flying up from behind him and standing on top of him. Crushing Jazz. Then, it cuts to a different scene. Later, it cuts back to Megatron holding Jazz and ripping him a new one... I just saw the movie a second time yesterday, and if I recall, I think that was what happened.

Nah, Megs throws him down onto that pillar before stomping the crap out of him. *edit* Jazz wasn't being lookout, Megs just carried Jazz up there to stomp on his face.

naw dude, the only time Jazz was on top of any building in the end battle was when Megatron flew him up there. Jazz was in the thick of the fight until Megatron grabbed him and flew him up to that pillar. the shot you're referring to is one shot. it shows Megatron flying while holding Jazz, then he throws Jazz and stomps on him, he then picks Jazz up w/Jazz asking "you want a piece of me?" and then Megatron rips him in half while saying that he wants two (pieces).

I think you're right.... Everything went so fast during that moment, it was hard to retrace what exactly happened. Still, I wish he didn't die. He had too much personality, and would have been a great comic relief in future movies, since the movie had that consistent type of humor throughout.

i'm sure they'll find a way for Ratchet to "repair" him. :)

dude, African American would have been a better term, you never know who you may be offending when you say "darkies"

No it's a "black" thingy

He's right... It's more of a Jazz thing, but at the same time, it's a black thing too. Jazz being the only "hip" Autobot, was seemingly killed out of all the Autobots. Bumblebee was totally vulnerable to attack, or to be finished off, since he was missing his legs - but no, that never happened. Whatever happened to the predator picking off the sickly and wounded?... That would have been a perfect opportunity if there ever was one (for the Decepticons) to kill Bumblebee.

Instead, they get the most interesting and fun loving Autobot and kill him off. :cmad: . As for Rachet repairing Jazz, wasn't there several references that indicates that he wouldn't be back?

1) Rachet said that he couldn't repair him.
2) The remaining Autobot/Decepticon parts were dumped in the deepest & coldest part of the ocean.
