I want to know, if people on these boards want Jazz to return in the sequel to transformers, or not. Ive been complaining a lot about his death on other forums which i'm sure most of u have noticed lol,

im interested whether people agree or disagree with me in having him return for the sequel. Keep in mind, that this doesn't mean other Autobot's don't get touched on, i'm just generally wondering if you liked the character in G1 and/or the film, and want Bay to bring the guy back in the sequel.

his death wasnt the greatest but it they are already bringing megatron back, bringing Jazz back would make his sacrifice seem pointless IMO so i think he should stay dead, there will be others to replace him...

I did wind up liking him a lot, but it's better for the story honestly if he stayed dead. If he actually does come back though, it won't bother me. I could deal with seeing more of his breakdancing transformations.:word:

yes, let's just keep Jazz in our memory and move on. :(

well at least one person doesnt want him to return, thats good to see lol

bring him the eff back!:cmad:

stupid if you ask me...

Soundwave(was that soundwave the radiobot??)edit: frenzy

gets his head chopped off and lives... why cant jazz be cut in half and survive????

Bumble was nearly cut in half and he survived:huh:

good for the story??? BAH! i call shenanigans... they trying to keep a brother down:cmad: :oldrazz:

Stay dead. He was f***ing annoying.

I liked all of the robots except for Jazz.

I liked Frenzy more then Jazz.

I voted yes for bringing him back. If they don't in a sequel I won't mind though, just think it would be cool. DarthRekal has some damn good points about Bumblebee getting almost ripped in half as well as Frenzy losing his head.

Jazz wasn't given enough screentime for his death to mean anything. Had Optimus or Bumblebee died, we would have cared. Not to mention that his death comes out of no where, after cutting away to some military stuff, he just suddenly is getting crushed up on a rooftop.

Yeah, that was a surprise for me last night. I thought what he did to Brawl/Devistator was really cool but that was about it. I thought he was going to fight with Megatron a little more before he got Pwned.

They very much left it open for a return for both Megs and Jazz
When optimus takes a sliver of the allspark out of megs chest at the end... he might be able to bring jazz back to life, and maybe making the allspark incomplete will keep megs staying fish food. Could you imagine if the allspark inside of megs brought all of the decepticons they dumped in the ocean back?

His "sacrifice" was already pointless. It was random, anti-climactic and empty. I don't want Jazz to return because they freakin' ruined his character.

Maybe he could get a new "spark" put into him with a less annoying characterization and different voice player.

Of course while I'm wishing, they could just bring Jazz back as the Porsche that he should have been in the first place.

What was wrong with his Voice?? It sounded on point if you ask me. Close to what I remember it from the Cartoon. I hope they bring him back; I dont think he got nearly enough screen time and he would be an interesting character in future movies, if they can find a way to re-build him.

No sacrafices are pointless - he played a very important role, in stalling for time - allowing the autobots, and sam to do what needed to be done.

I sure hope Jazz returns. He was the only one that cared and wanted to help free Bumblebee.

It wasn't the voice itself as much as what was said. While Jazz was one of the "black" Transformers voiced by an African American in the cartoon, the whole "wacky hip-hop slang humor as a big funny" has just been done to death.

he was a cool bot.... but hes dead... move on

No, he was under used and a great member of the autobots. HE MUST RETURN!

My only issue is that they should have saved the "whole 'wacky hip-hop slang humor as a big funny' " for Blaster.

Damn Jazz died? I wish I hadn't read into this thread. Even though I haven't seen the movie I want Jazz back in the sequel.

Ah, don't worry. If Michael Bay wants to bring Jazz back he'll do it. It's not like Bay's constrained by little things like "continuity" or "logic" in his films.

His sacrifice WAS pointless. He wasn't stalling for time and it wasn't important. He was just fodder. And your memory of the cartoon must be pretty cloudy, because he didn't sound anything like that, nor did he talk like that.
