COMICBOY said:They obviously messed up when the inside said Medina did the pencils. Just lookng at the art, I didn't want to rip the book in half. This issue was fantastic, and I did shed a tear. God, I really love MJbut marvel doesn't.

Between this issue and #28 (Doc Ock's reaction to the Unmasking), I have to agree. Both issues gave me such a smile to see that history remembered and referred to so nicely. It was only a few months ago that I'd read Gwen Stacy's death for the first time, so the aftermath was still vivid in my memory. Likewise, for the Ock issue, I remember, just after Peter unmasked, thinking about way back when Ock'd unmasked Peter and hadn't believed he was really Spider-Man. "Wouldn't it be great," I told my husband, "if Marvel actually referred to that? I bet they won't, though." Then, lo and behold, there was SSM #28.Themanofbat said:You should be picking this book up... Sacasa CLEARLY has repsect for Spidey's past and uses it as a strength.

Lt. Figgnuts said:I gotta agree that the writer has been really strong (although I didn't like how the "Feral" arc just kind of fizzled out IMO). Can't wait to get this one.
I had heard this one contradicted what was going on in ASM, though...? I mean, as far as MJ's characterization.
