I’m sure he could get over his Data image, and make a great Riddler. The only problem is that he’s a bit old.

Yeah, Spiner's been in so many other things that people never realize it's him.

He's actually been in tons of movies and sitcoms since Trek.

Spiner would be a great Riddler. Die his hair and he won't look that old.

I saw an episode of Enterprise with him in it (Not as Data) and he was quite awesome.

He definitely has a good look for it, but I've never seen him act other than Trek, so I don't know if/how well he could pull off the Riddler, but I have a feeling he could, since all you guys seem to like him.

Oh yeah, one more thing...BETTANY DAMMIT!

I saw Spiner in the CBS show Threshold - he was very good, I could see him as Riddler.

Brent Spiner is a hell of a good actor. Sure eveybody thinks of him as Data, but he's been in other things (small role in ID4, sadly - he was in an episode of one of the Law & Orders a couple years ago, too) and if you notice, towards the end on ST:TNG they gave him other stuff to do because he was so good. In pretty sure that Lore (Data's brother) was created just to give Spiner the chance to play a dick once in a while; Spiner also played Dr. Noonien Soong, the guy who created Data and Lore. There was one episode in season 6 or 7 that was almost entirely Data, Lore, and Soong in a small house on a remote planet, Spiner playing against himself in three roles. And it was absolutely brilliant.

I have the impression that he's not the nicest guy in the world, but he is a genius.

Which pretty much means he'd kick ass as the Riddler.

Jay Karnes, who plays Dutch on The Shield, would be a great Riddler.

The Joker - Lachy Hulme (Four Jacks)
Harley Quinn - Anna Faris (Scary Movie)

Harvey Dent / Two-Face - Joaquin Phoenix (Walk the Line)

Roman Sionis / Black Mask - Jake Gyllenhaal (Jarhead)
Sal Maroni - Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects)
Rupert Thorne - Albert Finney (Big Fish)
Oswald Cobblepot / Penguin - Timothy Spall (The Last Samurai)

Selina Kyle / Catwoman - Scarlett Johansson (Match Point)

Ed Nygma / Riddler - Peter Sarsgaard (Flight Plan)

Bane - Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson (The Rundown)

Talia Head - Keira Knightley (Pride and Prejudice)

Det. Sarah Essen - Virginia Madsen (Sideways)
Det. Harvey Bullock - Ray Winstone (King Arthur)
Det. Renne Montoya - Roselyn Sanchez (Rush Hour 2)
Sgt. Bill Petit - Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck)

Dr. Leslie Thompkins - Vanessa Redgrave (The Pledge)
Jeremiah Arkham - Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption)

Vicki Vale - Kate Winslet (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)
Silver St. Cloud - Isla Fisher (The Wedding Crashers)

I don't like The Rock as Bane, he's not...huge enough. If you're going to do a wrestler, you need like Kane or someone.

Never thought about Peter Sarsgaard for The Riddler. Not sure how he'd do, just because I've never seen him in a role I could compare it with.

I think Edward Norton would make a great Riddler, or maybe Alan Cumming, like I said earlier.

The Rock is by far the best actor - fmr wrestler. I am willing to let Hollywood make Rock LOOK Bigger in exchange to get his better acting ability.

I could see them doing that. Using the opposite of what they used to make hobbits look small in LOTR to make Bane look humongous. They should've done it with Kingpin in Daredevil too. Michael Clark Duncan is big, but not Kingpin big.

The sad thing is that they did do it with Duncan a little bit - they made a tad bit taller so he would look larger compared to Ben Affleck.

I love Clancy Brown, but I can't see him as Arkham at all.
I'll be honest, I don't know a ton about Arkham. I just like Clancy Brown and thought it would be cool if he got another prison role, sort of a nod to The Shawshank Redemption. Plus, he's just a darn good actor.

Brown was my choice for Flass before Begins came out, but if he should have another prison role it should be Lock-Up.

I'd like to see Bill Nighy as Arkham.

Ok, I just looked up info about Arkham, and something stood out.

"Jeremiah was not one for "compassionate" healing. He relied on the teachings of B. F. Skinner, and used negative reinforcement to cure his patients. Even the most dangerous of inmates soon began to fear him. "

Clancy Brown is an intimidating guy who could act just as frightening. Sure, he's a big guy, but that doesn't mean he should be restricted to playing the thug. He's got the acting chops to be a slightly mad, intimidating, aging doctor. Sure he's bigger than Arkham, and a little younger, but the character could still be the same. Brown would nail it. Plus, I mean, Clancy Brown isn't exactly a spring chicken. He's getting up there a little bit. Look at him on Lost.

I definitely agree. He would make a great Jeremiah. Now I'm an old school Highlander fanboy, so I always remain a little attached to the Kurgan, but this fool can act.

It seems like Josh Lucas REALLY wants to be Harvey Dent/Two-Face, and he would be a good choice, so just give it to him. Paul Bettany seems okay for Joker. In my opinion, they should introduce another villain that hasn't been in any of the films yet, so Black Mask would be at the top of that list. Who should play him? Joaquin Phoenix sounds good. As for a new female love interest actually from the comics, I read that Mischa Barton might be cast.

Clancy Brown is the voice of Two-Face and Lex Luthor in the cartoons. Just a little interesting tidbit for y'all. ;)

Actually, Harvey Dent/Two-Face is voiced by Richard Moll
