Sequels that Will NEVER be Made, But You'd Like to See 'Em

Star Wars Episode VII, VIII, and IX

Conan The King

Yeah, thats it. I was getting mixed up with the awful comic book sequel... But still, the last line of P2 is "dont worry, you'll get your chance", as glover looks meaningfully towards the sky... The whole scene has the feeling of "This **** aint over", y'know?

And Dude Love, I'd really like that but I dont see it happenin' somehow.

I didn't interpreted that scene as you did but as it happened before ( Pred 1 and the 17th century flintlock ), it happened "now" ( P2 ) and it will happen again.

i don't know. as long as it's not as rancid and awful as AVP: requiem. That movie just took the franchise to a whole new trashy low, where as the original films were influential and great.

I'm talking about a new low where it made AVP 1 look like innocent fun, which it was.

Well.. maybe more exciting predator and alien fights? Both AVP could use better ceography in the fights, and waaay better editing!

Daredevil 2
Punisher War Zone
Dick Tracy
Shark Tale(You got a problem with that?)
Jurassic Park 4
Superman Returns
Lethal Weapon 5
Men In Black 3
Friday 4(With Chris Tucker)
Van Helsing

Wow, zeptron, kudos to you for being brave enough to mention Van Helsing!
Regardless of how many problems that movie had, I still loved it.
The concept was great and if it could be really really really well written it would deserve to be revisited. Given a second chance, or, at least a reboot.

Also, another franchise that deserves the same treatment and a second chance is "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".
I loved that movie despite its weak script. It was still really fun.

I agree with both Van Helsing and LOEG. I felt that they should've delved more into the whole "Van Helsing might be the Archangel Gabriel" concept with a sequel, if not a prequel film. That concept is part of why I love that movie in the first place! As for LOEG, I felt that they were on the verge of showing Quartermain rising from his grave alive and well at the end, but it cuts to the credits just before it happens! I wanna know more about what happens next with him and the gang, Alan Moore's hatred towards Hollywood be damned!

DareDevil 2
Spawn 2
Mortal Kombat (III)
The Crow 5
Cloverfield 2
Independence Day 2
Jurassic Park 4
MIB 3
Titanic :lmao:

Dude Independence Day 2 is happening.

For me Sky Captain. Damn, what alot of fun and it does deserve a sequel. They could make a tv show out of it. Animated could do well too.

Oh yea... i would love that...
didnt some news came out that a new trilogy is planned?

We really don't need a JP4. Damn, if only they went with the original plot for JP3, it would have been alot better.

I've been watching Firefly via netflix streaming and it just breaks my heart that the show got canceled so early on in its run.

Ironically, I saw Serenity first, but somehow, I got the jist of the story and characters. I can see why so many people like this show.

I would love if they made Serenity 2.

I know, the show and characters are just golden and its a crying shame we wont ever see them again on screen.

Ghost Rider 2
Hulk 2
Daredevil 2
Spider-Man 4
FF3
Usual Suspects Prequel: The Rise Of Keyser

What ever happened to the director who did Sky Captain?

If Jurassic Park 4 does get made at some point, you can count on it being a reboot.

Conran? No idea. The sequel idea was supposedly to be set on Mars.

Man, I really do want a sequel. The release date that was picked was all Paramount's fault. It would have opened better in the holiday season.

what kind of reboot are you talking about?

Are you talking about a Nolan Batman type reboot, or a reboot where it's a series of new movies but still have continuity with the originals (ie Predators/JJ Abrams Star Trek)?

If it's the former, I can't see how anyone can drastically improve on the timeless first film. It might be more faithful but it probably won't touch the legacy.

Ghost Rider 2
Hulk 2
Daredevil 2
Spider-Man 4
FF3
Usual Suspects Prequel: The Rise Of Keyser

That is happening.

And I don't want a Usual Suspects prequel. It will diminish the magnificiant ending in The Usual Suspects.

-I'd rather see a prequel than sequel to Serenity, for 2 reasons: (1) The events of Serenity would be a suitable ending for the Firefly mythos and (2) [blackout]Wash and Book died in the first one and I don't know if I'd like it as much without them.[/blackout]
-I'd love to see a Sin City 2, but I've given up hope that it will ever get made. And to think, it was once slated for a summer 2006 release.
-I'd probably like an Evil Dead 4, even if it wasn't that good a movie.
-I could go for another X-Men movie if Singer did it.

The Shadow 2
The Rocketeer 2
Beverly Hills Cop 4 (in development hell, doubt it will really happen)
Three Amigos 2

Hell yes to a Sin City 2. Oh, the wait is still painful. They're doing a Spy Kids 4 and not Sin City 2. ****ing Spy Kids?! Rodriguez needs to stop listening to his kids.

I would LOVE to see a Bladerunner sequel

I mean not necessarily with Harrison Ford or anything but just going to that landscape again that city, the production design and some of the visuals are some of the best I've seen, just sheer classic. So unique, I would LOVE to see a film return to that universe. There was a thought of having a film called Metropolis which apparently had some kick ass pre-production or at least some art work done but it was completely scrapped.. I really REALLY want to see a return to the Bladerunner world...

Well. Half the awesomeness in a Serenity sequel would be seeing the [blackout]awesome way they were brought back to life that would be super lame if it was anyone other than Whedon.[/blackout] :hehe:

The movie Soldier with Kurt Russell is set in the Blade Runner world
