Especially when it's such a step down in talent. I'm not saying Patricia Arquette is some amazing thespian or the the NoES movies needed great actors, but her replacement should have died within the opening credits with how bad she was.yeah that definately sucked . i hate when character are replaced it stands out too much .
Yep, and Mila Kunis, Jackie from That 70's Show, becomes the new psycho...Wait... WHAT?! PATRICK BATEMAN BITES IT IN AMERICAN PSYCHO 2?! As in, near the beginning? He's not the main character!?!?!

It's more implied, but I believe it is mentioned Bateman was found dead at some point in the course of the film. Of course alot of people dismiss the movie as an official sequel since it was so unmemorable.it doesnt show it , i dont even remember it being mentioned.
Maybe; Jack from Pitch Black, well the girl who was a boy,but really a girlshe died in Riddick.
Trinity in Matrix:Revolutions,I understood why Neo was killed off,but not trinity..

There's 2 Ewok movies?Here's another one...
After all the trouble that the kids go to in finding their lost parents in The Ewok Adventure (1984), the parents are killed off right in the beginning of Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1985).
Yet another reason to hate George Lucas.![]()

The Bourne Supremacy: Franka Potente gets shot in the head. Her character didn't even die in the book! Not only that but she was supposed to be in Ultatium(sp?). I hated seeing her exit the film so quickly.
X-men 3: One of the biggest WTH moments of 2006. Cyclops getting his not even 30 minutes into the movie. Ratner I salute you again with...WHAT THE HELL?!
Can't think of any others right now...
i could only sit through the first 10 min of the film, but i thought that this was only loosely related to the first one? i remember the girl started killing people already without a mention of Bateman.Patrick Bateman, though I've never seen American Psycho 2.
it had to be done man, only two there are, a Master and an Apprentice.Count. Dooku.![]()
Exactly what I think.Eddie Brock in "Spider-Man 3". I know about and understand the story reasons for doing so (addictions to power, control, etc.), but that part of the film just felt a tiny bit flat. I mean, Venom was underused to begin with (shame on Avi Arad for pressuring Raimi), and while I like the film's version of the character, his death just seemed rather forced. In my opinion, Marvel should have included Eddie in the film, but saved Venom for a future sequel (maybe featuring the church transformation right before the credits).
They wouldn't do that. Elsa died because she needed to die for that scene where Indy's dad finally says "Indiana".I'm fearing for Marion in Indy 4![]()
You haven't been up on your Indy IV news have you? It's been announced since comic-con.1) Marion is in Indy IV? WHAT? And if they kill her off, I'll be pissed off enough to hate the movie.
3) The reason they did not shoot Spidey 3/4 back-to-back was that the actors and director were only contracted for one more movie. To do 4 would have needed negotiation which would have cost time and if they had become so desperate to get them back for part 4 (which would have been the case for a back-to-back shoot), Sony would have no high ground and have to pay more on the actors's sides than their own. Also, there is a trend in studios to think to not let plot threads linger more than three movies as not to upset moviegoers. Besides, it got Venom out of the way and left room for better villains in SM4 (the last sentence is just my opinion).

Yes I know it had to be done (and he had a spectacular death scene)....but so early in the movie?
