I don't know what to make of the teaser/trailer/spot, between the kid stuff, the mega predator ( is he from human engineering or a Pred experiment going wrong ? ) and "yeah cool the Pred is back", my feelings are conflicted.

The trailer just didnt work for me, I had pretty good expectations for this movie until I saw the trailer. Of course we cant judge a movie by a trailer, still tho, it was such a huge disappointment. Hopefully the movie is much better than I now think itll be

I really want to like what I'm seeing, I love Predator and Predator 2. Heck I even liked Predators but this looks terrible. The vibe I got from the trailer was AvP2, it really reminded me of that.

Is this the TV spot everryone is talking about? The reveal of a Super Predator is certainly an interesting turn of events.

I thought Alien Covenant was worse than Prometheus and I couldn't stand Prometheus either.

As much as I'd like to hate that movie, I was either distracted asleep most of the time it was on.

There have been many movies worse than Prometheus.

Within the Alien and Predator movies I thought it was the worst, my hatred for it is strong.

Visuals, DoP work, editing and SFX were amazing in Prometheus, just the characters and writing and how it 'sat' were god awful. The important stuff !!

Characters behaving like 13 year old boys not scientists, the two lead male and female characters would NEVER have been in a relationship in real life, the actual 'focus' of what the film's concept was is never truly explored.

A beautiful looking mess is basically my assessment of Prometheus. Have not seen Covenant yet, the trailer looked to me, like a bad re-make of the original, don't know if that's a fair assessment of it.

Scott doesn't really know what he wants to achieve with these prequel films in my view, it strikes me like Lucas with his prequels, a sketchy outline diluted by lack of continuity brought about by losing touch with what made the original concept so valued.

Covenant really is a bad remake of the original.

As much as I'd like to hate that movie, I was either distracted asleep most of the time it was on.

I think it’s crime of being boring is what makes it worse than Prometheus. Which was annoying and stupid but I wasn’t bored.

If a movie makes me angry, it's worse than one that bores me. Mandon Knight stated some of the reasons I loathe Prometheus so much, and then there is the fact that I don't know why David has his agenda, or why that company founder thought it was a good idea to pretend to be dead.

Oh I totally get that, if it got that reaction from you then I totally understand. I’m the same with Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2 which as a huge Michael Myers/Halloween Fan angered the hell out of me. Which is why when people ask me what’s the worst film I’ve ever seen I say that one.
