I find it very hard to believe that a Shane Black movie would be worse than the AVP films. REALLY hard.

And not only is it Shane Black directing/writing, but since he was actually in the original Predator movie as well, I'd think he would understand the material better than the incompetent bobbleheads who made the AvP movies.

I just hope that someday, FOX comes to their senses to make a Pred movie set either in futuristic outer space in the Alien/Xenomorph timeline with Space Marines (a la the AvP games on PC, still don't understand why that concept hasn't been done on film yet and has just been relegated to the games) or some period in distant history (feudal Japan, ancient Greece or Rome, Vikings, etc). Not that a futuristic Pred movie would have to have the Xenomorphs, I'd just be happy to have Space Marines vs one or more Preds, how hard can that be for FOX to do?

I would not bet on an old Butch vs an Elder Predator ��

I really hope this is a return to form for the Predator franchise. I didn't mind Predators for what it was, but I really hope this can bring new life to a franchise that has deserved better.

With Keegan, he's a fit, tall and good looking dude. Hopefully he's not just the 'quirky tech specialist' and gets some action. Looks like Danny will.

Pretty close to the same ratio as the original film when you add in Tom Jane's character too. Just no Native American or Hispanic, Billy/Poncho.
