Writer's block sucks! Especially when you're close to the end
I really need to see Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.

I really need to see Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.
I hope Shane Black will avoid the pitfalls that IM2 fell into, namely, the awful script, and make sure they have enough time to polish it before they start shooting. If IM3 turns out to be merely average like IM2, I think the BO will reflect it because GA won't fall for it again.
Awesome I have faith in this guy and I heard that he was one of the reasons that RDJ got Iron Man is that true?
Black actually has more time to do this than Favreau had with the first one. Now will it make a difference? Who knows.
They need to cut out the jokes, not make it super serious, but drop the jokes.
Bring in Mandarin and focus on the conflict between Tony and him. No clone sidekicks, and no other people trying to play hero. IM2 didn't suffer from villainitis, it suffered from too many people trying to play hero.
Tony, Mandarin and one of his lackies (Ghost or someother hired hand) should be the ONLY ones in costume.
More action sequences, he shouldn't drop from a plane and avoid fireworks and drop infront of cheerleaders, he should be avoiding SAMs and land infront of a warzone.
That's pretty much it.
Favreau was the main reason he got the part, but RDJ consulted with Black about the character when he got the part.
Instead of the Ghost, it should be Radioactive Man. He's from China, and he was also Mandarin's lackey in Iron Man #180-181. He fought Iron Man (although it was Rhodey in the armor at the time) and then was shown to be working for the Mandarin. However, Radioactive Man did show up again later in his own right against Tony (in the new red and gold post Armor Wars armor).
Mandarin and the Ghost don't really seem connected. Having Mandarin and Radioactive Man would be the equivalent of a James Bond movie having Dr No and Oddjob to fight. One is the evil mastermind, the other is the hired muscle.
