Yeah I think she was ready for the consequences, she looked like she believed in what she was doing when she did it, but you never know what would have happened later.

Another thing I thought would've happened was the Chinese still staying on the island for those minerals.

Yeah - that was another thing that surprised me - I thought the Chinese were there for the minerals.

But then the SEAL's girlfriend came back from visiting her home village and said something about prospectors creating havoc, as if they were different from the Chinese.

It was obviously a planned storyline that got truncated by the cancellation . . . but I'm still kind of confused. Were they outsider 'prospectors' that somehow got to the island . . . or was it a group under Serrat's control, since he knew about the minerals??

I thought those prospectors were Chinese and that was why King was targeting Zheng and his assistant only for Kani to come and stop him at the last second. So, I just assumed the Chinese would go, "Well, we didn't get the sub like we wanted, but there's more to this island and we'll exploit it."
