Supes can inspire and/or advise Billy/Shazam and BA show up in after credits.

Or Superman does another race with Shazam.*

*Superman is into sizing up the competition and probably going to entertain an underground superhero racing league.

Much like RDJ's Iron Man he showed up for Peter Parker/Spidey in Homecoming to inspire and advise Pete...Superman can be Billy's Iron Man

Not a race, it would have to be an arm wrestling match

Nothing official on a Cavs cameo yet I assume?

:wow:

That was a great trailer. It's already the best thing to come out of the DCEU.

I can understand him being under pressure, I feel there's a lot of projection there, but a lot of my sympathy disappears when you take a broad brush to a fandom with a petty minded comeback.

yeah it didn't sound as bad in the context of the whole video and isn't the worst thing you could say

but if he keeps on acting like that then it becomes a problem

Fandom itself is petty, I'll happily admit that I am at times, so I see nothing wrong with a little clapback. Let's not pretend this is suddenly a huge eyesore on the film when we know there'll be more fan critics and gripes as production continues.

I mean, pointing out that people want to be angry for anger's sake isn't unfounded for comic book fandom with how much we love to nitpick.

"WHY THE CRAP SUIT" :hehe:

It was clearly a troll comment. If he was to respond he could have simply left it at "I think it's f***cking bomb" however it's comical how far he went. He seems to be internally really upset about it. Hell even Zack Snyder would have shown more restraint when answering that question and turned it around.

It's true that fanboys are petty, hateful, panicky, fickle creatures but that is not for Levi to point out while promoting the film :funny:

Anyway this is hardly a big deal. They should just release an official pic of the suit.

I guess I dont see the big deal. So a bunch of whiny entitled fanboys got called out for being exactly what they are. Oh darn...

The truth hurts.

Also... Let's remember that Levi is an out and out fanboy nerd. So this is one of US, not criticism from outside the "tribe".

I disagree. I don't see pulling 'oh you're a nerd, you must have something wrong with you and I feel sorry for you' card as speaking any truth. It was a blanket statement at fans who have criticisms of the suit over one troll comment. I wouldn't excuse it even if it were from another forum poster let alone a movie star.

Sounds good to me, and if anyone remembers him from his Chuck days...he is one of us! He’s living the dream playing a costumed superhero and wants it to be a gray experience for everyone.

He was ever so slightly out of bounds, but overall I think he was more on the money than some of you seem willing to admit.

This wasn't him dissing all of fandom. This was him very astutely summing up a sect of fandom that looks at less than 1% of a final product and thinks they can call shots regarding the quality or fidelity of the whole. And let's keep in mind that this wasn't someone politely pointing out their issues with what they'd seen. This was a heckler razzing his team's hard work behind a fake name. I don't feel a whole lot of sympathy for someone like that, and at a certain point, that kind of person needs to look inward.

Yeah the defending of a troll here because Mr. Levi might have hit too close to home with some people is rather amusing...

I am really excited for this movie. Shazam is a great character. I'm sure Zach will do it justice!

Except that he didn't say "nerds" or "fanboys", or make any kind of blanket statement about fandom or any other group, aside from maybe bullies or trolls. He addressed those who were being rude and trolling, and that wasn't about fandom itself.
