Got tickets to see this early next Saturday. Can't wait, I'm actually looking forward to this more than Captain Marvel. That movie felt like homework whereas this one feels like I actually want to see it.

All this makes me think that WB should have released this movie on 23rd, that would have given it 4 weeks before Avengers:Endgame drops. Also, I don't understand why Captain Marvel is not facing much competition for 3 weeks since there are no major releases around it.

Now the goal is to stay spoiler-free, not an easy task given so many reactions coming everyday from early screenings, to say nothing about the review embargo that will be lifted on 23rd this month.

Not to burst your bubble but people have posted this about literally every movie since MOS. People are hyperbolic on the interwebs.

Note: that has nothing to do with the fact that everyone seems to be praising this film just saying it happens every film.

Yeah we’ve seen “the best dc movie since The Dark Knight” many times before. Regardless, so far Shazam looks to be on par with Wonder Woman as far as critical reception goes. Let’s hope so.
