He's good in a typically one-dimensional written role.. The thing is, the man has played so many villains now, he could do it in his sleep.

Like Patrick Wilson, he plays it straight and never breaks character or quips. He’s a straight villain and it works. But his character had dimension and the movie takes time to set up his motivation.

Yeah they actually fleshed him out a bit which was surprising. The first act actually spends more time with him than I expected.

blue beetle should be a priority he can be dc's spiderman not to mention the 1st hispanic lead in a super hero film

not to mention his outfit looks cool as hell

Eh. I typically love Wilson but I wasn’t impressed by his one-dimensional Orm character. I expected more from him, especially given how good he was in some of Wan’s other films.

Is that from a video game? I agree his costume is awesome and could look amazing in a film. As long as they do Jaime Reyes and not Ted Kord. I think the only comic I ever enjoyed Kord in was the one where he got his head blown off, lol.

As much as I disliked this movie, I can honestly say I can't wait for The Rock to get involved with a Black Adam vs Shazam. That's one thing this film really needed IMO. A charismatic act like the Rock would do wonders for this character, and keep Levi reigned in and on his toes a bit better.

Easily the best DC movie since The Dark Knight. Not saying all that much, but with Wonder Woman being really good/borderline great two years ago, and Aquaman being more or less passable, DC is in the finally on the right path! I need to see them put out two really solid movies in a row before I can give them my trust again, but if Birds of Prey is solid, the days of DC on film being a laughingstock could be over.

I think people forget just how scary and violent Jurassic Park can be and yet it’s a movie aimed at families and kids. That’s the power of Spielberg and it seems Sandberg has hit that precise sweet spot as well.

Agreed. In the 80s family films were often dark and scary which is why people are saying this film would feel right at home in that decade.
