I was sure one was going to involve Black Adam

Not really sure if that's a spoiler but figured better safe than sorry.

I loved the movie and if you're on the fence about seeing Shazam jump off scream Shazam while in mid air and fly to the theater and buy a ticket or two.

Cavill's gone and he's not coming back. Just like Ezra Miller and Ben Affleck. He's moved on and so should the fans.

Sandberg definitely did a good job. He didn't hit a home run, but he did OK. Seemed more like a Marvel Ant-Man/Ant-Man and the Wasp type of film, which is fine. Zachary Levi was the best part of the movie IMO. Glad he finally got a starring role like this.

Couldn't agree more. I don't know why it's so hard to accept the obvious (facts).

One thing I liked was how they didn't sugar-coat what they would do as 14 year olds who suddenly have adult looks. Try and get beer and go to a strip club.

The movie is so goood man.

It is situational funny, really funny.

Freddy is so good, i see some of the gazeebo kid in this role too, especially the emotional moments.

Absolutely loved this movie! Tons of heart, and they nailed the castings. I didn't feel like Sivana was completely underwritten, but I agree that there could have been a bit more depth to his character.

Loved seeing the build-up to the rooftop jump.

I would think the sequel would feature Black Adam so not sure how a Rock could do both at the same time. I mean he does a lot of movies but usually doesn’t film them concurrently.

wouldn't he just do some of it then walk 5 minutes across the warner bros/new line lot and film another scene lol?

would probably help with keeping his character similar under different direction also

could get Sandberg to direct a scene while he's filming BA, and use that scene in Shazam

Mr. John Glover had a hand in creating Poison Ivy, Bane, Lex Luthor, Dr. Sivana.
The guy just keeps making them supervillains.

I saw this over the weekend. I liked it, it was very enjoyable.

So, while me, my son and my nephew were standing in line waiting to go into the movie theater, there was a loud obnoxious family behind us, the entire lot of them were loud and talking stupid ("Yeah that guy over there I can kick his ass", *girl's voice* "Yeah you can take him, you're bigger than him"). stuff like that.

Anyway, who I assume was the dad was talking to the mom about this movie and at one point he said "I really hope this is better than the Shaquille O'Neil movie" "Is this the sequel or something, I hope I'm not missing something because I didn't watch that one."

Needless to say, we sat as far away from them as I could.

I really hope its Black Adam in the sequel. That's the best way to go here. A Black Adam solo movie FIRST makes no sense.

Faithe Herman was just adorable in the movie ! Thanks to her, we now know that they are moving ahead towards a Shazam sequel.

Saw this movie at a packed IMAX showing. Loved it, and the audience was having a blast. Big collective gasp at the end. One of the most enjoyable times at the movies, and I don't know what the reason is but the audience was nothing like I have seen for a DC movie since TDK in terms of how into the movie it was.
