She-Hulk

Lets not forget couples in committed relationships but can't be allowed to marry because conservatives think it would make baby Jesus cry.

You mean like Billy and Teddy? I think they would make Jesus cry, but not because they're gay. they'd make Jesus cry because they are nauseatingly cute together.

Gays are allowed to marry in my wonderfully progressive, loathingly corrupt state.

So today, Dan Slott's final She-Hulk issue came out. I got it, and I'm glad I did. I liked it al ot. Yes, this issue plus issue 20 felt a bit rushed to me, but I'll take it as it is. Still good writing. What did you guys not only think of this issue (21), but of slott's whole run?

I thought this issue was fun. Too bad they can't use Alphas to explain Tony and Reed during Civil War :woot: . Not long ago I re-read those FF issues featuring the Earth with the Reed Richards thing, DeVoor, and Interlocking Technologies. Using them was a great idea. Slott rules!
(And Pug is in servitude to Morgan LeFay?! Yeeks! I wonder what's going to happen to him.)

They were rushed on purpose, since Slott was supposed to have two or three issues more to do one more story and wrap up the loose ends, but PAD's start date got pushed up and he had to cram alot of things in.

I know, and it was felt. it wasn't bad though.

NRAMA: Who you, as She-Hulk know sleeps with everyone…

DS: And probably a few everythings. She’s probably better off not sleeping with Wolverine for a variety of reasons, chief among which is that sharing his bed is like the kiss of death. I think he has a ninja army that follows him around whose sole purpose in life is to hang back and then kill anyone he cares about. Talk about an STD – sleep with Wolverine, and it’s nearly always fatal, and not in the way you learned about in 10th grade.

I love this bit.

Old news, but I must say that I just love Jen's new haircut.

LOL

SLOTT is a God!

In ONE ISSUE he resolves ALL the inconsistances in the MARVEL universe over the last year or so.

"Isn't that be the Rhino? Hasn't he been beat up five times? Shouldn't he be in the Hospital?"

or

"Did you sleep with Juggernaut?"

"Snort!" YES!

LOL

BUHWHA HA HA HA !.

I actually didn't like the issue. I mean, I know it's all in good fun, but it is canon. I like the idea of a shared universe, and if that means there are some inconsistencies, I'm okay with that for the most part. Slott's explanation, while creative, is something I hope is quickly forgotten about.

Well, you don't have to choose to believe that every inconsistency is due to an alpha. I doubt Wiccan and Hulkling will be shown talking about how they're from another world anytime they appear alongside the Initiative or anything.

Well, apparently Slott's explanation for Hulkling and Wiccan being members of the Initiative was in fact that they're two of the guys from the different dimensions.

Yeah, but you don't necessarily have to believe it. For all we know, 616 Hulkling and Wiccan might've figured joining the Initiative wasn't such a bad idea after the alternate versions left. Or it might be revealed later that the dupes joined the Initiative and the 616 versions took their places after they went back to their world so they could infiltrate the Initiative and feed Patriot and Kate information. Slott's writing A:TI as well, so it's not like the person controlling them in the Initiative isn't aware of the She-Hulk arc.

I have no worry that whatever ends of happening, Slott's use of continuity will be astounding. I'm just saying that I don't think I like his original idea that things might stem from.

I guess I like the idea better than "skrulls"

I haven't been able to read the latest issue yet, but someone (who is Anti-Iniative to the point of praising Red Skull & Mr. Sinister for killing S.H.I.E.L.D. agents) told me Jen made a private deal with Stark to get her powers back, and dropped the suit to get S.P.I.N.Tech banned. Is that true? And what kind of deal?
