She-Hulk

In this issue:
Tony Stark doesn't even show up. Jen's firm is rounding up these duplicates from another dimension and, with the help of Reed Richards, sending them back where they came from. During the story Jen lets Reed know how pi$$ed off she is at him and Tony. Part of the process of people coming to the Marvel universe is a machine that makes them a copy of the Marvel person in regard to powers. In other words, ordinary Jen Walters from that dimension comes over to 616 Earth and is able to become She-Hulk. 616 Jen is going to go to that dimension since she doesn't have her power any more. But, while sending her through, Reed uses the machine to make her a copy of the Alpha Jennifer (as they call these people). Since Alpha Jen has no nannites, 616 Jen doesn't anymore. And Reed pulls her back to her home reality. Alpha Jen goes back to her reality and throws herself at Alpha Pug :yay: .

These last couple issues have been awful rushed but still pretty good all the same.

Oh, I like that Jen and Pug have matching haircuts now.

Yeah, I don't know what Burchett was smoking when he decided on that haircut for Pug. I suspect he was watching an old version of Hamlet at the time.
I haven't been able to read the latest issue yet, but someone (who is Anti-Iniative to the point of praising Red Skull & Mr. Sinister for killing S.H.I.E.L.D. agents) told me Jen made a private deal with Stark to get her powers back, and dropped the suit to get S.P.I.N.Tech banned. Is that true? And what kind of deal?
Absolutely false.

I just read 21 and liked it a lot. But yeah, Pug's new look isn't working for me. He looks like one of Jen's boyfriends from Savage She-Hulk, but whatever. This and Captain America, obviously, are my two favortie titles Marvel is putting out right now. I was bummed with with the Planet Without a Hulk story line. Having She-Hulk as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. rather than an attorney in those whacky cases she was involved in was less interesting too me. Nice to see that arc has ended. Slott is awesome, missing Bobillo, but looking forward to Peter David.

"Wow! Two Star Trek references in one day? It's like we're in a Peter David comic!"

"I wish!"

I want to see some Shawn Moll interior work. Anyone got any links to his stuff, She-Hulk related or not?

I've been looking for you photojones2 and I can't find any actuall examples other than covers, but the majority of the people out there seem to hate his work.

Damn. That's not a good sign. Post some cover links then, will ya? And thanks in advance. :)

Qute
Okay, is it just me, or does it seem silly that Stark can turn off the Spin tech temporally for WW Hulk, but Reed can't disable it later. I know it was necessary as a plot device for the end of the story, but still.

I found some:

It's not good. It's not horrible, but it's not good. :down

Nah, I like Burchett's stuff. No one's going to be as good as Bobillo was, though.

I'd prefer Burchett to Moll based on that page. But, judging from the Outsiders roster presented on that page, that's 2- or 3-year-old art, so hopefully Moll's improved.

You're awesome, dude  I thought I was the only one who loved Bobillo's work. I thought his departure was temporary but now I'm thinking it is permenent, which is a shame.

So Jen is still sueing Stark, right? She hasn't rejoined the Iniative?

Now that she
has her powers back she might not bother sueing him and might just pund him. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah but if she tried that, he could just pull the same **** on her all over again.
