The script was kick ass. The sequel's going to be leagues better. Fans of the first will be blown away by the second. Guessing Warner's loved the first so much, and were pleased with it's box office success, that it allowed the second to enter blockbuster territory. I can't say anything else beyond this point. I just wanted to throw a word in there on how awesome this film is going to be. Luckily, got a chance to work on it.

One question, are the improvements on the detective side of things or bigger action set pieces?

Can you give is a little insight on the overall plot and Moriarty's plan?

I need to see Moriarty.

I've gotta get the bad taste of BBC's version out of my mouth.

Now this is what I've been waiting to hear.

There's a lot more detective work. The action sequences and set pieces are larger. There's a more global scale. The plot's loosely based on a Sherlock Holmes book. Moriarty and Sherlock play a game of chess in both a literal and metaphoric sense: it's certainly a battle of wit and intellect which leads to more detective work. I can't go into any details, just an overall 'picture' of it.

Oh yes! You are certainly whetting the appetite! :woot: Is Moriarty actually in the book they are loosely basing the film on? or is it a case of adding him to a loose adaption of one of the other stories? The global scale part gives me a thought.

Yes, Moriarty was in the book it's based on. I think it's one of the more remembered novels too, so "old school fans" of the books will definitely like several aspects in it. I can't say anything other than that about what book it is though.

I'm pretty sure I know which one, great choice as well. Thanks, I wont pry any further.

im sorta worried they'll pump up the action and not mystery... and it'll tun into pirates or something...

Is Rachel McAdams in this?

She's dreamy :)

I like her a whole bunch a lot.

The only reason to be excited for this movie is the potential TDKR theatrical trailer that will premiere in front of it.

That's about as far away from truth as you can get.

I'm really excited for this movie. The first one was fantastic

Great to hear. I loved the first, but I really want to see a battle of wits.

I love the hell out of the first. I can't wait for this one. Plus it will be over a year since RDJ has been on screen. That's too long for me.

I'm anxious to see Harris in the role and Fry.

Same here. I'm wondering how big this movie is going to be.

When the first one came out I figured the sequel to take place internationally. At least in France. That is the one place I could see RDJ's Holmes being in. And it seems it's where they're going.

I'm Anxious to see the trailer for this,The first one was so much better than I thought it would be!!
