I have much harder times making a story within a word limit. When you have a limit, achieving an organic flow is hard, especially with such a low word count. But, THAT'S THE CHALLENGE!!!

I have 3 submissions. You others, GET MOVING! :cmad:

I can't openly comment on your stories until I reveal results. I don't want to sway the judging in any capacity. However, I will give you all my 2 cents when this is over

You know I won.

Just give me Survivor trophy now...this contest is useless :o

I will too. There is one, I'll say, that I can't tell if they were amazingly clever with their writing (which I liked), or just really bad in the delivery (which I wouldn't like).

It could potentially be my favorite, or it could be my least favorite.... I dunno :(

This challenge actually inspired me to write a short, LOL! I'm doing a story now myself :oldrazz:

May use this later for a potential short film.

Good thing I'm better at Comedy than Horror :csad:

Good thing I've never written horror stories :csad: X2

I am not very good at story writing, but I tried something a bit different. I am prepared to get roasted on it though.

When this challenge is over, I may post this story I just wrote

So this week's second challenge included storytelling? Interesting.

Yep. Writing very short scary stories

It's funny, but horror is not my favorite thing to write, but it's Halloween season. It was the best choice!

Kinda wish I could have taken part in that challenge. I like writing some short stories. And, not to brag, have had a few published.

Show off :o:oldrazz:

What kind of stories were they?

Mostly humorous. One was a dark comedy about a hospital of sadistic doctors that crippled patients who had insurance and the other was about a guy who learns his dreams of fame and fortune won't come to pass after a visit from the "Truth Fairy"

Where did they get published? That is seriously awesome they did

I've only ever entered 1 writing competion, and I was kind of forced to for a class in HS. My story was better than anything else written in my class, but there are many things I'd do to change it now. I had to write a story about love, and my story was extremely sappy.

I love writing stories!!

SF, I had that happen to me in high school as well. We were forced to enter a contest my senior year in my Creative Writing class, but I ended up getting first place. :D

(Ok so each school had it's own section, but I got first place from my school.)

How many submissions?
