The Pickled Peppers Beats the Crap Outta Batman for Fifth Straight Win
The Pickled Peppers left it all on the field in this one and accumulated the second-highest point total this week to wallop Batman 121.66 to 47.61. The Pickled Peppers has become a very tough matchup after winning their last five. Matt Ryan led Batman with 15.26 points while the Philadephia Eagles Defense racked up 13.00. Batman (5-4, 740.38 points) drops to seventh place and The Pickled Peppers (6-3, 828.98 points) remains in fourth place.
W'sOrNothing Upsets The Butterflies, Rises to 14th Place
Underdog. Schmunderdog. W'sOrNothing overcame a 16.98-point projected spread, taking down The Butterflies 75.82 to 55.72 for the upset. They got a team-leading 27.64 points from Drew Brees and 25.75 from Delanie Walker. The Butterflies failed to live up to expectations and scored only 63.5% of a projected 87.77, while W'sOrNothing put up 7.1% more points than projected (70.79). The Butterflies, coming off a 108.72 to 71.10 win against Heavily-Armed Lemurs, saw their scoring shrink this week. Each team left something on the table as W'sOrNothing had three starters turn in zero points and The Butterflies had one. W'sOrNothing (3-6, 565.76 points) inches up to 14th place and The Butterflies (6-3, 932.68 points) drops to third place.
The HH Jabronis Drops the Hammer on New York Spiders for Third in a Row
The HH Jabronis picked up their third win in as many matchups when they dismantled New York Spiders 124.95 to 63.19, recording the highest score this week. Going streaking usually draws attention to yourself, but not in positive way. Not in this case. Since starting their win streak in Week 7, The HH Jabronis has moved from 16th place to 12th. They're doing it by scoring a lot of points, averaging 104.75 per matchup over the streak, which is 125.8% of their norm. To make matters worse, New York Spiders got zero points from Robert Woods. New York Spiders goes to 5-4 and falls to ninth place. The HH Jabronis has now steamrolled W'sOrNothing (103.94 to 37.72) and House Hush (85.35 to 54.11).
House Hush Belts HawkPride in Da Bum to Move into Eighth Place
House Hush (5-4, 710.95 points) defeated HawkPride (3-6, 778.43 points) 102.14 to 75.50, led by Peyton Manning with 21.62 points and Tyler Eifert who had 20.65. House Hush was the first to put points on the board and by Sunday was already in front 28.55 to 0. That lead faded away by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed 72.10 to 65.47. However, following the late Sunday games, House Hush regained the lead for good. Then, they spent the rest of the matchup making fun of HawkPride to the other league members.
The MIGHTY Hobbit Brigade Smokes SF's Backstabbers, Knocks Them Back into 13th Place
The Hobbit Brigade benefited from 27.68 points from Ben Roethlisberger and 16.44 from the Cincinnati Bengals Defense, crushing SF's Backstabbers 99.47 to 50.91. The beating gave SF's Backstabbers four blowout losses on the year. Free fallin' like Tom Petty, SF's Backstabbers suffered a significant drop in scoring from last week's 135.43 to 129.06 win against HawkPride. On top of the loss, SF's Backstabbers had three starters put up zeros. SF's Backstabbers (3-6, 743.91 points) sinks into 13th place and The Hobbit Brigade (8-1, 733.41 points) remains in first place.
Coastal Camel Toes Ass Smacks Regulators, Makes It Four in a Row
Coastal Camel Toes, with "Eye of the Tiger" playing in the background, put up the highest point total they've scored this season and beat Regulators 103.22 to 96.11, overcoming a 10.83-point spread. Coastal Camel Toes has built consistency and is on a four-game win streak. Jeremy Langford led Regulators with 20.70 points while Jordan Matthews brought in 19.65. Coastal Camel Toes (6-3, 674.31 points) climbs into fifth place and Regulators (5-4, 774.94 points) stays in sixth place.
LatverianLocos Puts the Kibosh on Heavily-Armed Lemurs to Capture Second Place
Do not touch LatverianLocos right now, they're just too hot. They registered the highest score of their season to get the win over Heavily-Armed Lemurs 121.24 to 90.78. LatverianLocos might as well be named "Butter" because they're on a roll. Scoring 51.9% more than projected, they've beaten expectations three weeks running. Heavily-Armed Lemurs was coming off a 108.72 to 71.10 loss against The Butterflies and saw their scoring increase this week. LatverianLocos showed some mercy in the win, starting a player with zero points (Nick Novak). LatverianLocos (7-2, 802.07 points) climbs into second place while Heavily-Armed Lemurs (4-5, 773.94 points) drops to 10th place.
The Incredible Hulks Butt Rapes One Man Wolfpack, WINS FIRST GAME OF SEASON!!!
The Incredible Hulks got the second-highest point total by a player this week (42.75 points) from DeAngelo Williams and erased a 3.19-point deficit on Monday night, taking down One Man Wolfpack 104.23 to 79.92. One Man Wolfpack has had some misfortune after losing their third in a row. One Man Wolfpack gave it a good shot with an improvement in scoring compared to last week's 96.16 to 54.01 loss against LatverianLocos. One Man Wolfpack (2-7, 703.02 points) sinks into 15th place and The Incredible Hulks (1-8, 760.99 points) remains mired in last place.
