There was a girl who was allegedly asked by one of the killers if she believed in God before being shot. But that later turned out to be just a claim that came out which her mother capitalized on. The witnesses claim it never happened.

One of the killers did ask someone else, who said yes, and for whatever reason, they let her live.

Lots of women own and shoot guns. This is a psychological difference. Most serial killers are male.

I should say its a bit theoretical, but its one of the only explanations medical professionals have for why so many males and so few females commit these sorts of acts.

I think a female is more likley to convince/manipulate a male to commit acts of violence on her behalf…..

Anyhow, this is tragic and these shootings seem to be happening more and more frequently. So much so, that they don't last more than a week or so on the news cycle, yet if this had happened about 15 years ago, it would be covered for months…..

Not limited to a forum, I'm talking about in general. These tragedies end up as a support mechanism for agendas cross the nation, and not sure how much people even care sometimes is all.

Every tragedy is an excuse for both sides to spark debate. I hate to say it, but I do feel some secretly are glad they happen as it gives them a reason to get on their soapbox. If it made a difference, I wouldn't be as cynical.

Events shape a nation so that shouldn't surprise people that agendas become part of the equation. I do think the gun control has a place in events like this, but I find some places ignorant to start up with racial components. Was he black or white? The population is mostly white so when something happens yeah it would tend to be a white person I'd say. Really the shootings have nothing to do with race but the discussions through social media start going there pretty quick.

This is because in a month people will have moved on and there will be even less momentum to strengthen gun regulations. That is why people on either side of the gun debate dont wait until the mourning and sorrow is over. To make political change you have to strike while the iron is hot. That's just how it is.

A weekly shooting is insane in any place that isn't currently in a war. Hell, even in a war there would at least be better protection in likely places that would be hit next.

There is a massive ****ing problem with the USA that this has become a regular occurrence with everyone that could help fix it just trying to look better for the news instead of doing anything.
