her dying may be a little overkill but if done correctly i don't see why not...

the real question should be how does she die.

I think she should. It would add an even stronger element of drama to the story and Peter's struggles, and would create a nice arc for her character(assuming this is the last film).

And...not to sound morbid or pessimistic, but...Rosemary Harris isn't exactly a young woman. I'd rather see her character dealt with in this way than to have her be replaced by another actress in future sequels or simply disappear from the story without explanation.

If Aunt May died.. knowing Pete was Spider-Man

and if the cause of her dying had something to do with the black suit

it would be all the more reason for Pete to get rid of it

I think it could be interesting if she dies... but in the next film, or the feature film of gg2, say harry holds her to ransom.."Peter! You killed my father, my parent... time to even the score" then kills her, this brings spidey to finally be able to kill/ fight harry, say before he couldnt because of the friendship they had, or something like that

No please, although Reikowolf makes a valid point, I hope not I love Rosemary.

I think she should die, but not in this movie. And when she does die she should tell Peter that she figured it out like it happened in the comics.

I voted no, but I could see it done for one reason. I hope Rosemary Harris has many years ahead of her, but if she were to pass away in real life, I wouldn't want to see a replacement actress for her. She is Aunt May, and I wouldn't want to see anyone try and replace her, in this incarnation of the Spider-man movies.

WELL IF THAT'S THE CASE, MAYBE SHE SHOULD PASS AWAY IN THE MOVIE. I WAS ORIGINALLY THINKING NO.

yeah that would be epicly sad

It Would Be Sad But It Makes For Good Drama In A Movie. EXCEPT IT DOESNT WORK FOR XMEN 3 IN MY OPINION

GREAT POINT...YOU SURE ARE SMART!!:hyper:

No. Save that "potentailly great" story for later.

although it would be nice if the symbiote changed her opinion on spidey so she actually doesn't like him...

i feel that dynamic needs to be found in the films, the love/hate relationship is a must must must, especially if she was to die revealing she knew from a while back.

her death would be anti-climatic if she was still a fan of spidey when she bites the dust

yes. a horrible gruesome death. preferably while she is holding a small child... and petting a puppy.

yeah, her dying would really set the 'darkest' spidey so far

they really shouldnt kill her off. the movie needs her character.

She Is Such A Pivital Character In The Movie!
